Why is Grissom leaving?

I thought the scene right before the jungle was so heartbreaking. I was almost crying. Grissom's been a part of my life for almost 7 years (that's when I started watching the show) and it felt like losing a member of my family. I always thought it'd be really cool to have an uncle like him.

But out of all the CSI: characters that have come and gone, I miss Speed the most. I stopped watching CSI: Miami after his last episode.

I'll stop watching CSI: NY if they kill Danny or Don.

And if they so much as touch Nick, Greg, or Hodges...

ITA and I always wanted Grissom with Lady Heather not Sara.

ME too!! And I thought I was the only one. I love how she is so different but at the same time, they are a lot a like. Sara ALWAYS ALWAYS annoyed me. I was sad when they killed off Warrick, but know why and now I'm sad that Grissom has left. I think he made the show to be honest. I don't know if I'll continue watching, but I'll try. I hated it when he was gone on "sabbatical." I did like the ending last night though.

ITA. I loved Grissom and Warrick. Never liked Sara. I don't know if I'll be able to continue watching. But maybe I will. I miss Alex from CSI Miami also, but as long as they keep Horatio, Eric, and Calleigh I'm there. Horatio is like the coolest mofo on the planet! Love that Dude!

I hope they do get rid of Horatio, the man couldn't act his way out of a paper bag and why are most of the cast plots based around him? Someone wants to kill him, his son gets away with murder etc. Btw what happened to his niece she hasn't been seen for a while? Also in one episode we see Wolf drop a child of at school but who is the boy? Lastly why is it Celleigh and Eric but its always either Wolf or Mr Wolf?

Yeah on the kissing! I never liked Sara and didn't miss her when she was gone but I can say she looks even more worse for wear since her departure,very old and haggard looking.

I wanted to scream NNNOOOOOOOO!!!! when they kissed because Gil is a definite hottie,and I didn't think he would deserve it if his tongue got stuck in that huge gap between her front teeth.

Not the ending I would've given him that's for sure...whoever came up with that needs to be shot.

Do you remember the character Terri Miller who played the Anthropolist from seasons 1 & 3? I really liked her but she was only in a few shows. Lady Heather is my second favorite.

I loved the ending, I was happy that Grissom and Sara got back together. Yay for Geek love!

Okey I am a newbie on these shows.......started watching ALL OF THEM in October. My granddaughter was staying with us on college break and she had to watch this show. SO I stayed up and watched it and now I am HOOKED....My most favorite series is the NY one. I like the people better. More action too. But LV was good too. I loved seeing Sara and Grissom together. It wasnt a passionate love it was a sweet love. When the nutty girl kidnapped Sara and left her out in the desert alone/they found her and on the helicopter just their eyes met when she came to and it was so dang sweet. I was sobbing though for the one with Nick buried alive. That was a tear jerker and horrible seeing someone suffer as he did.......

One thing about these shows......They are wicked graphic.......when blood gets splattered I almost have to duck......

I have only been watching the reruns on spike or A&E

Yes, I remember her. I thought they brought her on as a love interest for Gil. That would have been great too. Boy was I wrong. She just disappeared.

I may be the only one, but I could deal without Grissom, but Gris and Warrick? Nope...but I'll keep watching and give Fishborne a chance, he can be a very good actor.

I've found myself enjoying CSI NY much more than CSI anyway for a while now. I like every character on NY, while I've always only really like a few on CSI.

I wish horrid things upon that _______ who plays Horatio. I can't stand him and the way he whips off his sunglasses. Every time he does that I want a car to hit him.

ITA Me too he is a horrible actor with from what I can see only one range of emotion and he looks like either Alfred E. Newman from Mad Magazine Or Howdie Doodie the puppet....I am thiking the latter but then again I will will respect a differing opinion. I do not wish horrid things on his person onlythat he go back to the d list movies he used to make so I would not need to see him...If you really want to see him in all his less than glory you should rent the movie he made at Danvers State Hospital in MA a few years ago...talk about bad acting.

I was hoping she and Gris could get together. I am assuming Bill Peterson does not need the money because this is not the time to leave a steady job to look for work in the theatre given the current ecomomic conditions.
