"Why is everybody wearing plastic jackets?!" June 2013 TR NEW X3 1/21 COMPLETED

Thanks so much for sharing your trip report with us. It's making me more exciting for our trip!

And could Jessica be any cuter?!

I didn't even know those characters were there, I guess when you don't have little ones anymore you really look for to many characters. Never did the photo pass before, but it's looks like you really get good pictures with it.

Sadly I think TSM might need some TLC. But I can't imagine taking it offline long enough to it since it's just so popular. It's a tough call for sure.

Oh my goodness you can really see how big Ralph really is when he's next to a 5 year old. Jessica pretty much disappeared!!

I have to agree, TSM is in definite need of some TLC. Ralph was huge! I honestly didn't expect him to be that big!

I love Star Tours. Its my favorite Hollywood studios ride.

I have not seen disney jr live since 2009. I really want to go see it again now.

Star Tours is so great. Disney Jr. Live was really good, I love it with the new shows.

Great pics! :goodvibes

Thank you!

you got great picks even if no photo pass.......Keep up the good work.:thumbsup2

I agree, all of your photos are really good!!!

Thanks!

Thank you for reading and enjoying! I'm glad you're getting excited for your trip! When are you going? And thank you! Haha she's a little princess.

I only knew they were there from reading others trip reports and seeing their pictures. We really liked the PhotoPass and would definitely do it again.

Hi all! Sorry I've been MIA. I was on vacation with my boyfriend's family, it was super fun, but we had no wifi! :faint: I know it was terrible! But anyway here we go...

“The bury flue one!” Day 3 (Part 3)

We made our way across the park to reach our lunch destination.

SCI FI DINE IN!

Our reservation was for 12:15. We got Sci-Fi at about noon and we were seated a few minutes later.

People were coming in trying to make reservations but they had to turn them away, they must’ve been very busy this day.

We were brought in and seated at a table car versus a car with booth, which we enjoyed.

I love the snack bar in the back!

I love this whole restaurant! The feel, the cars, the set up! LOVE IT!

The Gang:

Our car table

Our server’s name was Dani and was from Windsor, GA and she was awesome. We loved her.

We all started off with milkshakes. Mom and I split the chocolate, dad got the Creamsicle, and Jill got the Oreo. Jessica got a souvenir cup with a glowing ice cube, she loved it!

Chocolate milkshake

We had brought lots of things with us to do while we were watching and today we decided we would play with pipe cleaners. We were all seeing what different things we could make.

These were a few of my creations

Mom and I got Salmon BLTs, I got mine without the bacon because I don’t eat meat.

OH MY GOODNESS THIS WAS AMAZING!

I loved that sandwich so much and I highly, highly recommend it!

Jessica got a hotdog

Jill got a burger of sorts

And Dad did as well. Sorry I thought I wrote down the names but I guess not, they both said they were very good.

We also got a order of onion rings which we all shared

While we were eating we were discussing what we wanted to do before we went on our way, I was saying how I wanted to make sure that we met Mike and Sully before we met and we were explaining to Jessica who they were.

I, being very over tired, mumbled out that Sully was “the big bury flue one,” everyone thought it was hilarious. It was a total face-to-palm moment.

Once we were finished we were all stuffed and ready to go, we paid and went on our way. We thanked Dani for being an awesome server and left a special message for her!

Up next: Mike! Sully! Jill! Jessica! Grace!

I love the table art! How is the salmon prepared for the BLT. I love salmon, but still unsure about sandwiches with it on them.

It's funny because I have no idea what we all did before Wifi! And it's even funnier that when I go places that don't have it, I get mad about it! Like why doesn't every public location run on wifi now?! Haha!

I love the atmosphere at Sci-Fi but the last few times we were there the food was just kinda "eh." But the Oreo milkshake is AWESOME!

Thank you we're true artists as you can tell. I'm pretty sure the salmon was cook the in grilled kind of fashion, it was very very delicious. Salmon is my favorite especially salmon burgers :thumbsup2

I love Sci-Fi! Sadly, my Dad didn't he had to sit alone.

I can't wait to see Mike and Sully pictures!

I love Sci-Fi too but not those slide in tables when someone gets stranded, that's no fun!

Wifi is such an essential now, it really should be everywhere! The last time I was at Sci-Fi I was very young so I don't remember the food all too much but this past time we definitely had delicious food! And milkshakes!

Posted but my comp lost it some how........

Thanks for sharing the sci fi it's on our to do list so I loved seeing the pics .....I will keep the salmon in mind I love salmon but my DH is more of a burger guy......:rotfl2:

We ate at the Sci-Fi Dine in Theater way back in March of 2009. Haven't eaten there since but I really enjoyed it. I think I may sneak an ADR there in our upcoming trip, even though DH isn't a huge fan. LOL.

What luck with all the meet-n-greets! Very cool!

I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan as well! Especially the originals (4, 5, and 6). What's really cool about the new version of Star Tours is the sequence is different every time, much like Tower of Terror! So no ride will be the same! :)

No problem! The salmon was delicious and so were the burgers, at least through the reports I got from my dad and sister I'm sure they were great!

Sci-Fi is so great! And episode 4 is my favorite! The originals are the best! I know we really enjoyed the new ride!

Again I apologize for being AWOL. I moved into college on the 19th for preseason for cross country and I have been so busy lately. But I'm here now and come prepared with lots of updates!!

A Monstrous Meet And Greet! Day 3 (Part 4)

So we headed out and ran to the Monster University greeting area. When I say ran I truly mean sprinted. Jill and I, with Jessica in the stroller, weaved our way through innocent tourists walking along the streets of MGM. We needed to get to Mike and Sully before the went away for they rest of the day!

We successfully made it! Wooo!

I loved all the detail in this meeting area its so interesting.

Before we knew it, it was our turn to meet everybodys favorite monsters.

Now I dont know how many of you have seen this movie but oh my goodness it is so cute! I saw it twice! Anyway back to Disney..

We poked our heads in the gift shop right after the meet and greet and then made our way through Pixar Place where we ran into a lovely army dude.

The shoes that some of these guys have to wear are ridiculous! I would fall flat on my face!

We made our way to the exit but decided to stop at the pin store under the hat. We let Jessica pick a pin and I let her pick out her own lanyard because shed been using my old one.

She got the red and white polka dot Minnie Mouse lanyard and a baby Pooh pin.

Then we made our out but not without stopping for some PhotoPass pictures!

Then Jessica did some super cute magic shots!

I took this of Jessica being Photographed

Our Photographers name was David and he was from Staten Island. He was awesome!

When he was doing the Magic Shots he said to us This is my favorite shot. You know why? Mom said Because its really cute? David said, No because I get to sit down! It was so funny we all died laughing.

After our little photo shoot we made our way out, Dad, Jill, and Jessica went to drop off the stroller and Mom and I stopped in Guest Services to leave a good comment about David because he was that awesome.

We headed out of the park at about 3:20 and it was just starting to drizzle, as we got further and further out of the park it started to rain harder and harder. Jill, Jessica and I were running at this point because it was pouring. There was a bus sitting and waiting to take us to our next destination, we asked the bus driver if we could wait a minute because our parents were coming they just didnt want to run, he said that was fine so we waited a few seconds and then we were en route to the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow.

Up Next: The Magical Mermaid Dress

Plastic Jackets?! Day 3 (Part 5)

When we arrived at EPCOT it was still pouring. On the bus ride over I had explained to Jessica that since her dress had the Little Mermaid on it that it was a special dress that could get wet. It was magic.

As we were walking in lots of people we leaving, lots of people in plastic jackets.
Jessica, a few paces in front of the rest of us turns around and ask, Why is everybody wearing plastic jackets?! and started to laugh. Silly people! Dont you know Jessica has a magic dress that is supposed to get wet!

The idea of plastic jackets was just too much for her, she didnt get it at all. It was one of the cutest, most innocent questions a kid could ask.

We ventured on into the park. Mom and Dad went over to the stroller rental to pick up a carriage while Jessica, Jill and I went to meet a special friend.

GOOFY!

After running into our funny pal we decided wed head onto Spaceship Earth.

Dad and I rode together and Jill, Mom and Jessica rode together.

At this point it was still raining so we headed over to The Seas with Nemo and Friends!

I love this whole building, its so beautiful and interesting! We walked right onto the ride too.

Jessica liked this ride even though she didnt totally get it at first.

After we exited our clamshells and headed over to Turtle Talk with Crush but a group had just gone in so we split up to explore a little bit before the next show.

I found my favorites& MANATEES! Next to elephants

I was practically jumping up and down at this point with excitement.

This one did a lil flip for me. And of courseeee I had to make a vine of my manatee brothers!

After parting with my beloved manatees, we headed back to Turtle Talk with Crush and were some of the firsts in line. Woo! It was a very cute interaction. Jessica was too shy to raise her hand. I know surprising right?! She is very shy in front of a lot of people.

Then before we left we had to get a picture with Bruce& excuse me, I mean in Bruce!

After we left the Seas, we headed over to Mouse Gears to look around. Jill and I had both wanted drawstring backpacks but werent having much luck finding any.

While we were in Mouse Gears, I found an Adventures Club pin which I ended up giving to Dad the next day as part of his fathers day present.

Then we headed over to the Cool Station, we all tried some different flavors. Dad and I kind of like the watermelon one but I dont think I could drink a full glass of any of those.

Up next: Eating our way around the World!

Haha, I actually just recently commented on another TR about how much I love getting photos with the characters in different outfits. I mean, it's the same characters, but... THERY'RE IN DIFFERENT OUTFITS SO I MUST GET A PHOTO!!.

OMG, I've never seen the magic shots on the curb before with Mickey and Minnie. They are seriously precious and perfect. :goodvibes

I am so sorry that I haven’t been on! I have been very busy but I finally have the chance to come on.

The detailing through the MU queue is pretty cool.

I love Spaceship Earth! I wish I were there right now.

Love the pictures, he did a amazing job. Some really hate there job and some love it.
