Hi all...I am curious to know why if you get a "value" 1br at Animal Kingdom villas, the point cost is so low. What is wrong with these rooms, and how hard are they to get at 7mth window (ie. is there only a small amount of this category?) Thanks!

The value rooms are in Jambo. There are only 10 1 bedrooms, and they all are lock offs. The view will be of the sunset savannah, the pool or the parking lot through vegetation. They do not have the sleeper chair because they are 3ft smaller in length and there is no room in the living room for the chair to open. They do have a chair to sit on in the living room besides the sleep sofa. I've had a value 1 bedroom and it was more than enough for the 3 adults. However, one place that I really felt that the 3 ft. length was missing was in the master bedroom. It wasn't easy to go into the room and close the door behind you.

The bathroom has a tub/jacuzzi/shower combo, the toilet bowl is in a little room in the bathroom. I forget if it was a double or single sink. The washer/dryer is at the end of the hallway.

I've booked a value 2 bedroom for September and it will be 5 adults, and I think we'll be fine. Some get the value accomodations at 7 months. If you want one, I hope you get it!

To add to what Bobbi said, the Value 1BRs accommodate 4 people because of the lack of the sleeper chair. The other 1BRs at AKV accommodate 5 guests. The balconies of the Value rooms are not quite as deep as those on the other AKV rooms in Jambo House.

HI..we got a value 1br at akv at 7 months for January 2009. We loved it!!! The bedroom was a pretty tight fit and I remember the bedroom door barely being able to be closed...but that didn't bother us;) We had a savannah view. Good luck
