Why is 7:00 AM the best time to call CRO to see if someone canceled a reservation?

I have seen people mention that if you are looking to see if someone canceled a specific for room a certin WDW Resort, it's best to call at 7:00 AM each morning. I am just wondering why is that the best time to call & how have you come to that conclusion?

That is what I was told by a CM once. Evidentally, that is when the "clear the system" and it updates cancellations, etc...from the previous day.

I cannot swear that this is indeed the case, but from a personal perspective, that is when I have called before for something I wanted and after a few tries, I got it. May have just been luck, though.

Actually I do remember someone once mentioning how the next morning CRO clears the system.

The way it was explained to me was that the system gets purged overnight & when they start up in the morning, it is all updated....

That is exactly how a cast member explained it to me.

Calling at 7am is good for snagging a room that has been cancelled overnight due to non-receipt of a room deposit by the deadline.

Rooms that are cancelled throughout the day go back in to the inventory immediately.

This is what I was told anyway, by a CM last week. I've been trying everyday to get a room for one night at POP Century with either a Fl. Resident or Passholder rate for 3/31, but to no avail.

No luck at 7am or otherwise...

Actually, the times are between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m.

Many CM's have told me that is the best time to check....especially for AP or Fl resident rates....

and keep trying!! I called for many many days for two nights in December and the week or so before something opened up!
