Why I LOVE POP

Just back from 11 wonderful days at POP and wanted to share why I love this resort: 1. Checked in unannounced 1 day early and not only got in but got the location requested. CM on Segway brought me at my convenience the changed keys the second day!!!
2. Waiting on an early bus for 7:30 PS at Boma and a very nice bus driver left MK stop to give my family a special ride to the lodge. 3. Transportation was always speedy and top notch. 4. All CMs were polite and helpful 5. Food court had terrific food. 6. Refillable mugs had the usual beverages but also apple juice and frozen cokes. 7. Gift shop cm went in the back to find a 1$ bottle opener to help us when we lost ours. 8. Christmas decorations and nostalgia posters and icons were terrific.

We loved Pop too! There's a wonderful older couple that work in the Everything Pop store - they're the sweetest people! They both go out of their way to get you what you need, be it a certain sized box, etc.

The food court seemed so big, but it works so smoothly that we loved it and ended up eating there more than at the parks. DD13 got addicted to a cheese and bread thing (what was it called? help!) and she ate one every night for dinner. We bought one salad that lasted us three days (we had a cooler) and stayed fresh the whole time. It was huge! I had a bit of it each night, and it didn't get wilted at all.

Bus service was fantastic, and this was right between two hurricanes. Charlie had just left the area when we arrived. The grounds were nearly immaculate!

The front desk was understaffed both times I had to use it, but that's my only complaint, besides the weight I gained from the tie-dyed cheesecake and frozen cokes, LOL!

I totally agree. I can't think of one negative thing to say about this place. We were there Oct. 3-9 for the 1st time. We loved everything the theming the pools our room the foodcourt (especially those refillable mugs)the gift shop the arcade. We had an awesome check in experience no lines and only took 5 minutes. The staff were all so friendly and eager to help. I can't wait to go back.

We love it too - and we'll be back again in July, this time for 10 nights.

I loved the way that the 70's music in the morning put us in a good mood for the day. The views over the lake (especially at sunset) was way better than any pool view.

I'm a deluxe kind of guy when it all shakes out, BUT I've had the pleasure of staying at POP three times for short visits this year and have nothing negative to relate. This much maligined Disney Resort is doing very well for itself and is a lot of fun, especially for those with smaller kids, I'd think.

I love pop too. me and the wife stood there last year in aprill for our first alone trip together, and are going back again this april too. and then in oct, and perhaps dec as well(but may avoid pop if we go in dec due to pop warner).

I really liked POP when we stayed there a month ago -- for 11 nights!!! We had two rooms: one for my family of four and one for the in-laws (they were connecting rooms) and it was GREAT! Our DS's loved swimming in the pool which was right outside our door. (We're from Wisconsin and I think that the only people swimming when we were there were people who lived in our neck of the woods and also thought that swimming in 60 degree weather was balmy. )

Our only complaint was that we were in the 90's building and that is about as far away from the food court as you can get. It took 8 minutes to walk there, but fortunately we ALWAYS had great weather (and you walk forever at WDW anyway), so it wasn't too bad. I'd try to get in a closer building next time. . . and yes, I'm pretty sure we'll be staying at POP again next time. No complaints from us!
