For anyone who's been to DVB, just wondering what your thoughts are about all the empty space on the lake side of the property. The area has great potential, with the rustic outside bar, lake, etc. And the tunnel over there is pretty cool too. One would think that with all the creative and profit seeking minds at Disney, they would make better use out of Disneyfying that space. Maybe an outdoor barbeque, dancing, something Polynesian....
Don't get me wrong, we love the relaxation and homey feel of Vero and have been trying to get there once a year, but what about a "sunrise yoga by the ocean", "soccer w/ Mickey", or a REAL treasure hunt, complete with maps and digging in the sand? (Instead of the extremely cheesy, sales-pitchy, treasure hunt with Pirate Mike?)
And is anyone else concerned about the unbelievable erosion at the beach?
