Why doesn't anyone ever mention Wide World of Sports?

Since we will be getting the UHP this time around, we thought we would go to Wide World of Sports, but no one ever mentions it on these boards....your thoughts would be appreciated....what is it like, is it worthwhile, how do you get there, etc.

There really isn't much to see at WWoS; but, if you have the UPH, I guess it wouldn't hurt to check it out. there are usually some sort of amatuer sports tournament going on there. You might catch a time when the Orlando Rays(tampa bay devil rays AA baseball affiliate) are playing. The all-star sports cafe is a descent place for lunch. To get there, take the main drag that runs north-south through the disney property(I think it's buena vista blvd.) if coming from the north, make the first left turn after the carribbean beach resort and follow this road past pop century and straight to WWoS. from the other direction(all-stars, bb, etc.)it's the last right before the carribbean. there are road signs that direct you.

If you are relying on Disney transportation, the only bus to WWoS runs from MGM. So you would have to take a bus from your resort to MGM and transfer to the WWoS bus there.
