Why does the Food n Fun Center stay open 24 hours?

When you think about the Food n Fun Center what is the point for them to stay open for 24 hours? Yes it's great you can get a drink at anytime during the night or maybe a Mickey Ice Cream bar or other desert items, but think about this. Once the grill closes at 10:00 PM all that's left is the stuff in fridge (Sandwiches, Salads, etc). I have been down their around 11:30 PM & most of that stuff is gone & is not replaced until the next morning. Now if you are really hungry I am sure you might find something their to eat, but your choices would be very limited. If a family who was staying at the Contemporary came back from the Magic Kingdom around 12:30 AM wanted to get something to eat in the Food n Fun Center chances are they would not have the best selection of food to choose from. So what I am asking is if the grill is closed at 10:00 PM & they don't re-stock the fridge until the next morning what is the point of even staying open 24 hours? Also if WDW wanted to save some money by not having the Food n Fun Center open for 24 hours, they would not have to pay a Cast Member to work the grave yard shift.

If it wasn't financially viable, I assure you Disney wouldn't be doing it :thumbsup2

It makes me sooooooooo mad that they don't restock the uncrustables!!!!! I will never understand that! I have come back a lot of times later in the evening and just need a cup of tea and an uncrustable and they wont get you any!!! How hard is it to put a box of them in the fridge?

Ah as the mom of many a baby in disney(we have 4 children) we have kept them in business in the chocolate milk alone.

When travelling to the World (me and DSister) we usually fly late in the evening. That way, we wake up for our first day of vacation "at home". :sunny: A few times our flights have been delayed so that we have gotten in much later than 10:00. I can tell you that two hungry and cranky 40 something women really appreciate just being able to grab something other than vending food. This last St. Patrick's day, sis got a salad and I got a turkey sandwich and some grapes at 1:30 in the morning! Sure made the last 7 hours much better! I know that most of the deluxe resorts offer a limited 24 hour room service menu, but I LOVE the Food & Fun court and the 24 hour availability.

Just another reason to not like the CR ,I guess! LOL!

Kidding!
