Why does everything happen at the same.....

Talking car wise, i started a new job on Monday, so i had my car serviced plus it was the first/annual service not many miles on the clock for a year old., 6100.

Anyway service was £££££, which was two weeks ago.

On my second day new job, the airbag sign comes on, booked in for yesterday, half hour later sorry your car has to be booked in for a full day, we can not find the cause of the problem, basically i have no airbags!

Car booked in for Wednesday so i pick up courtesy car on Tuesday night.

Wake up this morning to find i have a flat tyre, slow puncture.

My car does not have a spare tyre, so i have to phone the recovery people which i get for two years, who then inform me that they can not repair tyres, so the AA have to come out and take my car to the garage and i have to collect a courtesy car (YES FOR A FLAT TYRE, IT IS CRAZY).

Anyway we are at a high street garage who siad he can repair it, great, the AA man disappears, at the wrong time. :confused3

We can not repair this you have been driving around on a flat for a while and have damaged the inside of the tyre, (i disagree, but have had a look at the tyre, and it does have wear).

THEN, we don't have your tyre size in, it will be tomorrow, i explain i can not wait until then i need the car in the morning, so he puts a tyre that will keep me going until tomorrow, and the cost is..........

£76.50 for 1 tyre, DH gets on the phone whilst i am sitting in the garage and starts to question him plus the lad was very miserable even the AA man siad the same.


What next.........


Sorry i had to rant, it is only a smart car, not very smart at the minute though.
 
Oh dear not good for a car that is only 12 months old and why did the courtesy car have no spare???

As for the service it shouldn't cost too much for the first service as not alot should need doing.

Hope it is fixed soon.

The service was £160, i did shop around but no one services smart as the ramps are too small and they do not have the computer to contect up to.

Have not got a courtesy car yet i get that on Tuesday, the tyre was for mine, and was going to need a courtesy car to fix it. as no dealer was open
 

Ah I get you, sorry misread a bit there, getting muddled up with days etc this week.

As for the service £160 sounds about right from a main dealer.

Always the same with cars ~ A joy when they are going but a pain in the *** when they are not.

Hope you get it fixed quickly.
