Why does BLT lake view fill last?

I'm fairly new to DVC, but I've been reading a lot of posts on how you can typically get BLT lake view at 7 months even during some busy times. Why is that? Are there just more rooms? Is it the inner C that is the drawback? IMO the lake view rooms have a much better view than theme park and are less points. Maybe I'm just weird. TIA!

About 70% of the rooms at BLT fall in the Lake View category.

Standard view is popular because it is less points, they tend to go first. People who want to be guaranteed to be on the "outer C" facing MK book the theme park views. So that leaves lake view, which as Michael said is about 70% of the total.
