I dance and sing all the time. It has become so common that my dd5 just turns her head. I can not wait until she is a teenie-booper and I can embarrass her with my rad moves. I hear that is a mothers job.

Anywho..I had Sci-Fi for lunch. Not bad. Hope you enjoyed it

Debbie

:rotfl2: You are making us have to read ALL the posts to pick out who we are! I love the "ready to have more kids":rotfl2: but not till November!

As far as Sci-Fi--we were expecting space/planets and stuff and were disappointed at the theming. You're right--people seem to love or hate it.

DM, how do you keep track of everything you do to write in your TR? What's your way of keeping all the details fresh in your mind so that you can be so descriptive?

That's something DH and I were lacking from our last trip, what I would do is spend 30-45 minutes after our 1st and 2nd days typing stuff in our laptop, but then we played so hard the rest of the stay I didn't type anything else cause I was so sleepy when we got back to our rooms!

Especially now that we don't have a working laptop to bring along, I'd love some advice!

If you don't mind DM, I will jump in here;) I brought a little notebook (the kind the kids use to write their homework assignments and stuff in - about the size of a 3x 5 card) and each night, after DS was in bed and DH was watching TV or whatever, I would jot things down in the notebook. This worked for me.

Ok I am sick as a dog today and I saw my quote and then the name and I am like someone stole my quote. :confused3 But now I understand. :lmao: I hate being sick makes me loopy.
More tours later this afternoon.
Sorry you are sick. I guess I got a little carried away with the names. I'll save you headache, but others I will still have to bother....he he

:goodvibes That's a great shot of ToT!!! So how was dinner!! Hoping you tell us before I go :) because it's the one I am most nervous of...
Thanks! We had lunch at Sci-Fi and I'm not telling until my next update coming up tomorrow!

Normally I don't mind dancing and singing but this time it was just awkward. Guess it was the people surrounding me. If Brookie would have danced tho, I would have kept it up! Glad you enjoyed Sci-Fi...you'll have to wait to see if we did!

Would you believe everything I write is from memory? My memory seems to be pretty good with Disney stuff. Just don't ask me to remember your name 5 seconds after you tell me. Go figure. :confused3 Some things I do to jog my memory is, of course, look at the order of my pictures. That really helps. I also look at the park maps and try to re-trace our steps. I saved all receipts for souvies, plus they are great time stamps! Yes, there are things that I still forget here and there. I think the best way for me is all the pictures I took. The more you take the better it may help you remember. Hope I helped....:flower3:

I'd like to jump in also!

I too brought a little notebook but didn't write the stuff down until the end of our day.......big mistake :headache:

You forget half (at least I did) of it so better to write as you go :thumbsup2

I guess some people's memories are better than others....

Just sayin' ... :rolleyes1

Seriously, I wrote down a few notes the first 2 days of our trip but then just was too pooped to write. So I didn't bother.

Oh sure just leave me out in the cold while everyone else gets your fun ways. Change my name to Rudolph. No headache here, sore throat, fever basically the flu.

Well, as the winner of the 2008 Passporter Tip contest, I choose to always write down each day's memories on the official Passposter Pockets.:snooty: (copyright pending, all rights reserved....)

(They really do help--and I review each one before making plans for my next trip!):thumbsup2
Again...I guess some people's memories are highly superior to others....:rolleyes1
Why thank you and I'll be happy to sign a book for you! :rotfl2:

You'll get your Sci-Fi update when I'm good and ready. That would be tomorrow morning. So, don't worry, you won't be gone yet! We don't let Brookie take the binkie out of our home now. We didn't even back when we went to Disney but I knew it would be a big change in everything for her so we wanted to make it an enjoyable time for all of us, even if we had to give her the binkie to accomplish that!

Ya Ya

Blah blah blah

That's all I'm hearing over here .......... er READING :teeth:

That was a great suggestion. I did use my PassPorter pockets for the first 2 days and they were great for stuffing all our receipts in. I have them beside me now!

Why thank you and I'll be happy to sign a book for you! :rotfl2:
Are you buying me one too? I want the Deluxe Edition. Thank you!

And you've been MIA for a little bit. But, you'll be going to Disney soon.......

I'm glad you're catching up! Woohoo...can't wait for you to go and your TR!!!!

What TR? I can't write a TR if I don't come back! :goodvibes

But seriously, I can't write my TR until I'm done reading yours.

:lmao:

Sorry :sad2: You lose. Your criteria is wrong! :rotfl2:

:confused3 I still am "#1 NOT counting DM" I didn't say I was #1 overall. :goodvibes

Wednesday, June 27...MGM Studios
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster

Hopes:
1. More PhotoPass pictures taken
2. Alec can ride Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
3. My feet feel better with the blisters...:confused3
4. Nice afternoon rest
5. Meet up with SingingMom during late EMH
6. A meeting with the Dream Team

Wants:
1. Ride Tower of Terror with Alec...
2. Evan rides Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster...
3. A good lunch at Sci-Fi Dine In
4. Get pictures with Lightning McQueen & Mater
5. Return to MGM Studios for late EMH
6. Meet up with tnmomof4 to hand off Felicia

For any of you who have had to wait for family and/or friends while they were riding Rock
‘n’ Roller Coaster, you pretty much know that the area around the outside is very bright and
sunny and very very hot. We found a little shaded spot to sit and wait for Rob and Evan. I
loved listening the to Aerosmith songs. I saw them a couple of times in concert. I even had
front row once! I got up to dance a bit to the music but Brookie wanted nothing to do with
dancing. That was not usual with her. She loves dancing. So, feeling just a teensy bit silly, I
sat down and wondered how I could pass the time. Oh! How about taking a some pictures.
Yeah ...that’s the ticket! Thanks for cooperating Brookie...dang that binkie.
P1000892.jpg

But, I can pretty much rely on Alec to brighten things up!
P1000891.jpg

Hm...okay. I took pictures of Brooke and Alec. Now what? And why were Rob and Evan
taking so long? Oh, that poster of Aerosmith with the guitar totally rocks! So, I took a
picture of it. Please admire my artistic ability once again. Thank you very much!
P1000893.jpg

I kept checking the time and it was nearing the time we needed to head over to the Sci-Fi.
But I was a bit worried that Alec & I still did not use our FPs. I was pretty sure we could
still use them at any time during the day but I went up to the CM to make sure. She said
absolutely we could use them anytime before park closing. So, I put them in my safe handy
dandy plastic KTTW cardholder around my neck.

Okay, now we were really getting hot in the bright sunlight so I decided to wander over to
the gift shop area and wait for Rob and Evan. But not before turning around and seeing this
perfect picture...
P1000894.jpg

I wonder why I never saw it like that before. I always get the crooked pictures from Sunset
Boulevard. This one was totally straight on. LOVE IT!

Finally, Rob and Evan come off the ride. I asked what took so long and the only answer Rob
could give me was that the line was really long even in the FP line. Great! Something to look
forward to. But first we needed to hightail it over to the...
P1000903.jpg

...and get us some grub!

Great update AS USUAL! And I also like that picture of ToT.

I am very excited to read your Sci Fi review! Finally...somewhere I am going on my trip! :yay:

 Brookie also does a mean "Girlfriend" by Avril Levigne!

I bet that is really cute! Can you try to get a video for us?

I guess some people's memories are better than others....

Just sayin' ... :rolleyes1

Seriously, I wrote down a few notes the first 2 days of our trip but then just was too pooped to write. So I didn't bother.

that's what I'm nervous about...I don't know if I can do it!

Again...I guess some people's (cough*DM's*cough) memories are highly superior to others....:rolleyes1

Of course. I'm not denying the obvious...

I used latr FP at EE and Soarin'.That is what we are talking about isn't it??

I had one of those thingies too..:thumbsup2

Does anyone remember how much they paid for them? I found something similar for $12 on eBay. Is that about right or should I wait? :confused3

Brown Derby Snob???:rotfl2: But a Snob without the Cobb (salad that is!)

I was very disappointed at the Brown Derby back in 1999... all I could think about was a REAL Cobb salad... it was TERRIBLE, and the service was just as bad. But, they had the best grapefruit cake in the world!!! We tried to get it "to go" this year, but they were too busy to help us. boo hoo... next time I'll go just for dessert!!

Side note: DM - Dana said she would LOVE to babysit Brooke if you lived closer!!! :cutie:
