I saw the "Go-Go's" when I was in college, and wanted to be a drummer!! Then I saw Elton John in concert and was mesmerized with Nigel Olsen! I WANT TO PLAY THE DRUMS! That would REALLY make me COOL!

I thought of that but got in a total panic. That would absolutely drive me bonkers! I don't really mean to leave cliffhangers. I just want to try to leave the update with something besides...."We walked to Africa. See my next update." That wouldn't sound as cool, now would it?

I thought of you this morning, well, afternoon for you. Just because you're in Germany, you bring back thoughts of my grandfather who used to live there. I know I already told you on your TR. He lived in Munich.

Yes, I remember the grandfather in Munich! Unfortunately I am moving further away from Munich for the next two years, I will be working in Berlin soon... But now I am off (directly after work tomorrow) to the Black Forest (the one with the cake) for four days of hiking (and hopefully eating cake!!). So I will only be able to catch up with you on Tuesday!

Trying to catch up on your TR, but had to stop and say wooo hoooo..I love the new hair color! I asked Dane and teh boys the other night If I could do a pinkish red color all over---I gotta BIG NO on that-da@n it! I love it

I will answer all of you later but first I wanted to post a pic I took of myself this morning. I colored my hair and "intense red". I'm a bit freaked out at the moment. I know in 2 weeks it will be much lighter but I just thought I'd show you all. A few things to point out:

1. Lovely cheap mop sitting on the railing of my deck. Do you think I put it there?
2. Notice my cute freckles.
3. Oops! Bra is showing!
4. Dead trees between our yard and our neighbor's yard.
5. No smiling for me!

Berlin? I'll have to get out my map and look up where everything is. I'm not too too familiar with the cities in Germany. And the Black Forest sounds amazing. Wasn't that where Hansel & Gretel lived? You remember that scary fairy tale, right?

I would not do this color again. Back to my half normal/half enhanced strawberry blonde next time. I liked Dinosaur but it was a one-time thing for me unless the kiddos want it next time. You'll just have to wait for the update. Hopefully tonight. I'm babysitting again.

I am babysitting my niece and step-niece again today so I'm not sure when I can get the next update out. It will be either tonight or tomorrow morning. Or, if we all pray really hard and she (my niece) takes a good nap, then earlier....

I have at least begun to write it and have all the pictures uploaded. It's just finishing the writing and making sure it fits my perfect standards!
