Great update DM! Can't wait until you get your old computer up and running again.

We also enjoyed Turtle Talk it was very funny. One of our favourite things at Epcot even though we had no children with us.

:yay: Just enough to satisfy. I think I'm good until the weekend. :goodvibes
I love how these 2-3 year olds speak! Does Alec and Evan have to translate for Brookie like my Maddie does for my Evan? :lmao:
And why does food always look better to kids when it's on our plates???:confused3

DM, I am so glad you got your computer back! There is no better way to begin my morning than sipping my coffee and tuning into your report. I love the movie Finding Nemo, but the ride kind of disappointed me. Maybe I need to give it another try, which I am sure we will when I go back in 2 years for our Disneymoon....wow 2 years seems so far away.

I cannot wait for more and all your pics are great!!

He took 2. Wow, thanks for going out of your way. But at least I got my PhotoPass CD started.
Is that all  hope you got better luck with other ones!

We told him we would be back in Epcot on Thursday and if he wanted it then he could buy it then. He pouted just a tad but said okay. We did this because it was only our first day and we didn’t want him spending his money just to spend it.
Exactly what we do :goodvibes

Turns out later in the trip he was just spending it to spend it anyway. We made a good effort at first.
Oh well :rotfl2:

Alec “surprisingly” announces that he is now hungry.
Like you didn't know that was coming :rolleyes1

But he used a snack credit for it and I thought that was a total waste of a credit because it is the tiniest milk ever but I ignored it THIS TIME. Yes this whole incident comes back into play later in our trip so stay tuned…
OK I'll be waiting!

I push the double stroller while Rob pushes the light-weight Brookie stroller up the 90 degree walkway to the entrance doors.
What why are you pushing the heavy one

Luckily, it was next door . But do you know how hard it is to push a double stroller with 2 boys in it down a pretty steep grade?
:rotfl2: Ok confesion last trip Ellie was 7 and she's quite a little 7 but she had to walk everywhere no strollers for her and she didn't moan at all well not that I can remember anyway!

Oh shoot, I got Brookie’s buns. Turn around Brookie. That’s a good girl! Isn’t Alec still looking cool in his shades?
:rotfl2: Yes very cool :cool2:

Go read her TR and you’ll see. Oh no, did I just pimp out someone else’s TR? Am I crazy?!
You did and no you're not crazy it's a great TR :thumbsup2

Great update DM!!! :thumbsup2 I know what you mean about lunch. I don't think I had a meal to myself the first 6 years of my children's lives! I still don't get a drink all to myself ;). I was just as bad as a kid. "No, I hate tea!" I would say. Then I would proceed to drink my mom's tea to the bottom of the glass. It just tastes different! :rotfl:

I, for one, would like another update RIGHT NOW!!:rotfl2:

JJ--enjoyed the post.
I had a similar experience with BA while the rest of the family rode MS. We waited and waited--and got our picture made. Then they came out and she decided that she wanted to ride the GREEN side, and we looked up and the sign and it was now a 60 minute wait.... (they walked on before...)

I still haven't rode it yet....

But that's why ya get to go back!

Yeah, an update! I think we can wait now that you gave us a morsel, but I hope it doesn't take to long to get your computer back.....
I hope it doesn't take too long either. It will be 4 days without my computer today...

Am I first? Wow.....great update
Nope, you were 3rd! Thank you Cathy.

Hi DM,
Thanks for directing me to your trippie :cool1:
Shhhh...I most certainly would never pimp out my TR... :rolleyes1

I was enjoying your family through C&R trippie ("how nice", I thought, "this adorable DIS family met up with Courtney & Ryan")
...unless, of course, you are reading Courtney's TR and not mine...

Now I have another GREAT trippie at one of my favorite resorts (POR) during the same boilin' time we were there! :thumbsup2 Subbing in to come along for the ride. :drive:

I'm impressed that you have your photopass CD already. Looser that I am, I haven't even ordered mine yet....:rolleyes1

Hope your computer is up and running quickly!
Thank you. I just about immediately checked out our PhotoPass and did everything I needed to online. I just like to have everything in order before starting a TR.

Yay DM!!!!! GEAUX GIRL!!!!!

WHat a GREAT post!!!! Oh, these pictures got me excited!! I can't wait to see ALL of them!!!!! It's WONDERFUL looking at other people's pictures, other than just Ryan and I-- which is all I've been looking at for days as I've been doing my TR!
Thank you Courtney my BDFF (bestest DIS friend forever). Really...who would want to look at pics of you and Ryan over and over again. I would guess over 40,000 views is the answer to that!

Yeaaaah, another installment! Loved it!
Thanks so much!

Well, it's about time!!!!! :lmao: I can't get any housework done, because I keep checking my DIS, hoping to see an update from DM! PHEW! Now I can get back to the dustbunnies....

Photos are great - looking forward to more, SOONER than LATER!!! :goodvibes

Renée
Of course you were waiting for my update. It must be the most anticipated update of this board..

Don't worry, there were be lots and lots more updates but just not as soon as everyone would want them. Remember, I must drag it out!

I was trippie surfing and found yours! :goodvibes

I'm loving it so far!

Oh, tell Brooke that I'm really lucky because I share a birthday with her! I'm tree (free) plus a big number we won't discuss.... :rotfl2:

I'm looking forward to reading more!
I'm glad you decided to click on my TR and read it. There are so many out there and it's hard to pick and choose, and sometimes you have to. Too funny about how old you are -- the way you said it!

enjoyed the update & good luck on the puter!! looking fwd to the next installment:cool1:
Glad you enjoyed it!

Great update DM! Can't wait until you get your old computer up and running again.

We also enjoyed Turtle Talk it was very funny. One of our favourite things at Epcot even though we had no children with us.
Thanks! I think Turtle Talk is great no matter what age. There were definitely a couple of little innuendos in there for the adults...

Oh boy. I sure am glad that I satisfied you. I was worried that you'd be hitching a ride outta here. But do you really think I'm going to have an update this weekend? Dream on sista! :lmao:

It's funny how 2-3 year olds speak, especially Brooke because once she starts saying something her way, she does not like to change it. She still calls my mom (gramma) wa-wa and Rob's mom (grammy) bammy. The boys by this age were saying it correctly but she is stubborn. Maybe because she's the baby.

Oh, and food on my plate looking better. Well, as you can see from my pics, I am certainly not starving...:rolleyes1

I didn't get my computer back. But I did already have those certain pics uploaded onto Photobucket. I just had to retype the whole report but I did it for all of you!!!!!! I think sipping your coffee and reading my report is a must do too! :surfweb:

Two years does seem like a long time. My sis-in-law got engaged last August and she planned her wedding for July 2008. She thinks it is dragging out and occasionally wishes she planned it for this summer. But, at least it gives you lots of time to plan and have fun doing it!

:rotfl2: Ok confesion last trip Ellie was 7 and she's quite a little 7 but she had to walk everywhere no strollers for her and she didn't moan at all well not that I can remember anyway!
My boys would have been moaning and groaning if they didn't have the stroller. I didn't mind having it so much. See my next big post...

I don't mind sharing some of my food with the kids if they get to try new things. I just get a bit irked when they could have ordered the same thing but didn't. At Disney tho I totally didn't mind as on the DDP I knew I would be eating more than usual...

I, for one, would like another update RIGHT NOW!!:rotfl2:
Hey! You'll get it when you get it when I say you get it. Get it? Got it? Good! :lmao:

JJ--enjoyed the post.
Well, I'm honored that your daughter enjoyed it. She really wasn't too cool for it? :cool2:

Am ....and one thing I noticed was that you werent commando like me. I was high-tailing all around the place that morning! I was trying to fit everything in before we left for a break~
This deserved a reply to itself.

We decided before we went that there would be absolutely no commando touring. We know our kids well enough that it just would not cut it. That doesn't mean that I didn't have plans set up but we still took things easier and it made for a pleasant time most of the time. We did miss a few things but what we did see, we still never had to wait in long lines for. There are a couple of disappointments that we missed out on but that can happen even in the commando style.

We know we will be back in a few years and will pick up where we left off! I love saying, there's always next time.

I was a little disappointed in the new "Nemo" attraction, but I absolutely LOVE Turtle Talk... this year we had a GREAT Crush! One of the kids stumped him on something, and he literally had no come back, but it was hysterical. I wish that was a longer attraction. The Monsters' Inc comedy attraction in MK wasn't as good - I had hoped it would be as comical as Turtle Talk..

I, for one, would like another update RIGHT NOW!!:rotfl2:

YEP! Keep those updates coming!!

Why were you pushing the heavy stroller? :)
why are you pushing the heavy one
Another good question that deserves a reply to itself...

I pushed the double stroller about 95% of the time. I did this for a number of reasons:

1. "My" bag of things was always on that stroller and I like easy access to my stuff.

2. I thought that pushing a heavier stroller would give me better exercise for all the extra eating I may be doing at the park. In fact, I think it helped because with all those desserts, I never gained any weight. I did not lose any, but I didn't gain any and that's what I am happy about.

3. Pushing the double stroller was a bit easier on my back as the handles are a tad higher than on our light-weight stroller.

Toward the end of our vacation we started to switch strollers whenever there was a bridge or incline that came up. But that's saved for future updates...

:thumbsup2 You have a great outlook and I hope to be able to emmulate that on our trip. It has been over a year since we have done any Disney and it will be a good 3 years before we can go back. I have made some pretty solid plans but have things such as parades and fireworks planned mutiple times in case we punk out early or the kids want to break and swim which I know they will.

Thank you. Only you know your family the best and what works for you and them. Sometimes knowing them still doesn't help all the time though. We know we will be back in a few years but we are not sure when so it did give us a little frame of mind where we thought we would miss out on things if we didn't do them now. But after we settled in down there things worked out for us and we knew most of the time ;) when we needed to just take a break and forget about doing it all. This definitely came into play on our MGM day...but that update is way down the road from now.

I do like posting the excerpts from my pre-trippie with my TR as it is fun to compare the days as I planned to as they actually turned out...

The Land is one of the most hectic places I've been to at WDW! When we were there, the escalator was broken, so everyone had to use the stairs! Oh, I loved the story about Crush! Never done it, but he sure sounds cool! Can't wait to ride the new Nemo ride!

I liked the Turtle better than Monsters too (I loved Monsters the first time, but it wasn't as funny after that)

We did "commando style" sort of the day we were in Magic Kingdom with my sister's family... Maybe not "commando" but more "TOUR GUIDE RENEE" style I guess.. My brother-in-law told me he'd buy me a "flag like those Brazilian groups" next time, because I deserved it! We were only together that one day, and my sister tends to be a "scatterbrain" (said lovingly, of course! ;) ) so I had to make sure everyone was staying "focused"! :rotfl:

:sad1: One of those things having to be not getting to meet you. :sad2:
I totally understand, but it would have been great to me you in person! NEXT TIME! ;) And, I love the posts from the Pre-Trippie - it makes the reading that much more fun! Great idea!:wizard:

I liked the Turtle better than Monsters too (I loved Monsters the first time, but it wasn't as funny after that)

glad to see I'm not "alone"! ;)

I have 2 plans based on how the kids may or may not feel. One for if a little rest in the stroller works and one for if they all need a break. :thumbsup2
