I'm glad Brooke felt better! And I love the video from the Liberty Tree Tavern! The boys are too cute!

Looking forward to more!

Boohoo. I can't watch the video until the girls are done listening to their History lesson. Darn History... :lmao:
I'm glad it seems like Brookie is feeling better. I think vacation is hectic enough, but a sick baby on vacation... Who wouldn't want to cry?

But another bus driver who was standing there saw us and got the attention of our bus driver to open the door for us. Thank heaven!

:yay: to the other bus driver

We get into our room and I kick my Crocs flops off. I take care of Brookie. I cleaned her all up you know where, added some Balmex, and she seemed fine. I turned on the TV and just relaxed. Brookie started crying because she wanted her Daddy now. She wanted him NOW. That was it for me. I totally broke down and bawled my eyes out. I totally felt sorry for myself and I needed a good cry. My sobbing really surprised Brookie as she did calm down after seeing me. But it took me awhile before I could regain my sanity.

Been there, done that. It's the worst feeling in the world isn't it:sad2: :grouphug:

Now here’s a funny thing. Rob was shaking his head at me taking pictures of all our food. Yet, he videotaped it ... Hmmmm .....

You are turning him into a Dis Pro:thumbsup2

But it was a good meal for all of them. That made me happy.

:cool1:

After lunch Rob called me ...

popcorn:: popcorn::

Sounds like it really was not your day. Good for you for letting it out. I think having a good cry helps!!

Now I do not know Buzz....only from on this tread, and so I did not know what to look for. I thought maybe he was using Evans cheese sticks to get a good close up of the lady behind him:confused3 :rotfl2:

Sorry about the diet coke!! Do you go and meet up with Rob and the boys after lunch??

I saw the bus driver get back on the bus and close the doors.

That just always seems to happen! :headache:

But another bus driver who was standing there saw us and got the attention of our bus driver to open the door for us. Thank heaven!

How nice of him! :)

This bus trip seemed like the longest ride ever. Did the bus go straight to the Main Building bus stop at POR? Of course not.

Of course not!

Aw!

As we were heading out the doors one of the mugs turned over and crashed to the ground spilling all my Diet Coke.

This was just not your day!

Haha! You know he secretly wanted to be taking pics of the food too! It just wasn't his idea so he didn't like it!

Note to self--stay away from DM whilst pushing strollers and carrying diet Coke. Got it!

And to quote my hero Hannah Montana "Nobody's perfect":rotfl2: (dang--now I'll be singing that all evening. )

you had a break down. u seem so calm and collected. I can understand when a child is unhappy and it makes you feel bad.

seems like they had a nice lunch.

79 days and i will be in Riverside Mill eating. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
Scott--I forgot your dates--
changed mine to 1/31-2/5.

So, it was back to Port Orleans for Brookie and I. As we neared the bus area at the Magic Kingdom I saw that our bus was there already so I started to slowly jog while I was pushing Brookie in the stroller to make sure I got the bus. I couldn’t go very fast because of my feet but I just had to get that bus. I saw the bus driver get back on the bus and close the doors. Oh crap! But another bus driver who was standing there saw us and got the attention of our bus driver to open the door for us. Thank heaven!

You have NO idea how many "missed" busses we've had over the years. It drives me crazy. Then you sit and wait for like 40 minutes for the next one. Grrrrr...

I get Brookie out of the stroller and have her walk on first. I then just pick up the open stroller and get on the bus. The driver shot me a look and I said immediately to him, “I know I have to close it. I just wanted to get on. Plus there is no one on this bus.” I quickly folded the stroller and we were off.

Yikes! Some people take their jobs a little too seriously.

This bus trip seemed like the longest ride ever. Did the bus go straight to the Main Building bus stop at POR? Of course not. It normally goes to the French Quarter first. Okay, I’m fine with that because the next stop is always the Main Building bus stop. But not on this occasion. Nope. No sirree Bob! The bus takes the scenic route around the entire Riverside area before going to the Main Building. And I have Brookie crying still. Finally, we get off at our stop and she gets in the stroller and I push her back to our room.

Who's Bob? :confused3

I use the same technique on LtP.

Aww... you were just tired and didn't want the trip to end.

We had a quiet lunch in the room while watching more TV.

Sometimes, this is what vacation is all about.

Meanwhile, Rob, Evan and Alec began their day in the Magic Kingdom. I’m not sure what they did before lunch but Rob took some video at the Liberty Tree Tavern. Watch very closely to Evan’s appetizer. I dedicate this video to Buzz. I know he will appreciate it!
The boys begin their day ...

Buzz did appreciate it! :thumbsup2 My only disappointment in the video was the stretching of "cheese" instead of "snot". Send that kid down to me for a week and I'll teach him some "neat" tricks. :rolleyes1

Alec ordered the kids meal mac and cheese with a garden salad. Evan was very excited that he got to order from the adult menu. There was absolutely no problem in doing this, even though he was only 7 at the time. The CM did not question Rob using our adult TS credit for Evan. Evan ordered the Tavern cheese sticks for his appetizer and salmon for his main entree. He loved it all! Rob got some sort of turkey pannini, I think. And I don’t know what they got for desserts. They don’t remember now and I didn’t think to ask at the time. But it was a good meal for all of them. That made me happy.

After lunch Rob called me ...

Let me guess... you cried when he called? :) j/k

Thanks DM. Another good trippy. I woulda like to have seen a picture of the spilt Diet Coke though.

I can totally sympathize with a major meltdown in WDW. (I've had a few of them, myself, over the years...) I'm sure you felt much better afterwards. Great video! :thumbsup2

DM, I am so sorry that you had such a bad day. I can only try to understand how horrible you must have felt with Brookie being in pain when you were all set to have a magical last day!!

 AWW, you arenot having a very Disney day are you.

You know everybody needs a good melt down once in a while. And this one was certainly understandable with your poor feet, your baby sick and youare far away from home.

I hope your day gets better

And WTG on Rob filming lunch:thumbsup2

What's with all the crying? Our tears would turn to ice cubes before they hit the ground eh?

::yes::
