I found that writing the notes down at night was a great way to wind down before bed and to relive the great day we had had.

Crown Royal and M&M's do the trick also but without exerting yourself.

The only reason to do trip reports on these boards (for me) is to document the trip. We both (Lin & I) go back to previous reports to read and relive our past trips. We laugh and talk fondly of the old days and also use them to plan future trips to make them better.

Most of all, it's just fun to read about all the antics and discussions between all the DIS members.

That is one of the main reasons I am writing mine. I have almost no memory of my 1997 trip and none at all of the DL trip in 1989. It would be great if I had a trip report that I could go back and read alas I do not. Now that I am writing one here I will have something to go back and read once my memory starts to get fuzzing or when the family disputes how exactly something happened I can pull out my little disney notebook or the TR and settle the dispute.

It is also a great way of making your vacation stretch out once it is over. It is not over until the trip report is done!

True Dat! I also enjoy these "normal" trip reports. There are some that have a little too much effort put into them. My advice? Just start typing and see what comes out. It doesn't HAVE to be entertaining.

I took a golf ball in the head today so if any of this makes sense, it's a total miracle.

I like soft cheese. I like it a lot.

Ok, I'm dying here..... ... there's one point when she stops and looks like she's pulling on her pull up, or has a wedgie!! ... LOL She is just too funny!! We'd have such fun with her over here!

And, I noticed my new name..... "Singing Little Italian"?! lol love it..

I had to go back and see what you were talking about. She does not wear Pullups anymore, just underwear. She is pulling up her pants as they were starting to slip down. I have problems with wide waists with her sometimes. I thought that name was quite fitting for you. I did want to work in Jersey Girl but maybe sometime in the future....

I jotted down some things each night.... that lasted 2 nights....

The future has arrived! Oh, and I think the 2-nighter notes is average!

We also used FPs later during the day...and no one ever said anything. Although a CM at Peter Pan did hesitate. It's a great tip!!!

That is not the only reason. You also like to bring attention to yourself and entertain us. Do not deny it. The antics are fun. Some people don't like them so that's why I put in my handy dandy links for them to skip ahead.

Sci-Fi Dine In

We crossed the park very efficiently and found our way to check in at the Sci-Fi. Notice please that we cut around the Tip Board saving us probably a whole 30 seconds, if not 40!

They told us it would be a few minutes, which it was, and then we were shown to our cool yellow car. Evan & Alec sat in front, Rob & Brookie in the middle, and I brought up the rear. You can’t see me in this picture obviously because I’m taking the picture. But look at my goofy Evan...

Because I had used up 2 of our table service credits at CRT, Rob & I. Wait a minute. I mean I decided that we would pay out of pocket for our’s and Brookie’s meals and use the TS for the boys. I prayed that the CM taking our order would get this right. We had a fine Irish boy named Taoufiq as our server. Well, he wasn’t Irish but he was nice and said that he understood totally how we wanted our check divied up.

Alec ordered a salad for his appetizer whilst Evan ordered the tomato soup. They both decided on the mac and cheese for their entree. Alec ate almost all of his salad but Evan said he didn’t like his soup. No biggie. Both boys ate their mac and cheese. We ordered Brookie a dessert fruit salad (yummy, yummy...sorry for the Wiggle reference) for her meal. I thought that would be good for her as it was a nice big plate of fruit and she I didn’t think she was going to be a very good eater for lunch. I was right but at least we could all help her with the fruit.

Both Rob & I ordered burgers and fries for our entrees and it did not disappoint. We knew better than to order anything more complicated. We were there for the atmosphere and we love our burgers. Plus it was cheap. And we love cheap. At least cheap in the Disney sense in which everything else was probably more.

We asked dear sweet Taoufiq (now how do you think that is pronounced as I just can’t remember; I'm looking at our receipt) if he would take our picture. Here’s what he took...

Anywho, we loved the “kary” movie trailers and music. Just love it. The kids loved it too. Brookie just couldn’t get enough...

I should say that Brookie just couldn’t get enough attention. Back to the lovely Kiss tongue...

The boys ordered chocolate sundaes and we ordered one for Brookie too. We paid our portion of the bill, which Taoufiq figured out perfectly, and headed on out.

I asked Rob for the time, which was 12:50 pm. Oh, great! I knew that Lightning McQueen and Mater were going to be out for awhile so we started to walk and saw that the Muppets Show was going to start. Please note the red “X”. That is where we parked our stroller. Hmm ... is that a precursor of what is to come?
