A lot of people were thinking that the old FAQ was out of date and the OP was long gone. So me and another DISer decided to get together to start a new one. It's fun doing it but a lot of work. We will probably be updating it constantly. But I really like organizing things, if you couldn't already tell.

I cannot believe I skipped out of dessert at Raglan Road - Yours looked so yummy. Guess that is enough reason to go again.. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
You skipped dessert? The horror! :scared1: Actually, we almost always skipped dessert before the DDP. But with the DDP we just could not waste our money....

Question to all my readers....

Do any of you have a Trip Report going on right now that I have not subscribed to? I like to be loyal to those who are loyal to me. So please bring it to my attention if I have not already subbed to your TR.

However, I have to pass on any PTRs going on right now. I feel that there is only so many I can really sub to and really read it.

But remember, I will definitely sign up for your TRs if you have one now or are going to be starting one in the future!!! :thumbsup2

I'm sorry you missed out on RR too but there is always next time, right? Will you be doing a TR?????[/COLOR]

I have no plan to do a TR. Just trying to keep up with the ones I have started to read.I will probably do one for my November trip (first one) But we will see how it goes.

Thanks for all the great info. Just when you think you might know alot about Disney World, you read something new. And that dessert looks like something new I might have to investigate:magnify:

Wow, great pictures of the food. Mine always turn out blurry when I get that close. :confused3

I know what you mean about keeping up with the trip reports. It's especially hard when you're not being notified like you should. I think I need to check my spam filter.

I think most of the people who visit trip reports are actually writing their own, have just finished up, or are getting ready to start one.

I haven't read all of yours yet since I'm so late to the party but I'll get to it over the next few weeks while I'm at work. Prior to me leaving for my trip I become completely worthless as all I can think about is family fun in WDW.

I guess that's 1 less TR I need to sign up for then! And with every little thing you learn, you always forget something...if it's not one thing, it's another....

Oh, I have blurry pics of food. The mood lighting was right at Raglan Road though. You are right about not being notified correctly. I had to stop the instant notification and go to daily ones because my inbox was getting crazy. But I don't always get the daily ones. I rely on pressing the User CP to get to my subbed threads.

And, I have to admit that I am big fan of your last TR. You and Linnie are hilarious! I can't wait to read your next one!!!

And my TR should be easy to catch up on by using my handy dandy links at the end of each update!!! :thumbsup2

Ohhh, good call on the LINKS! I should learn how to do that. I'm so lame at these forum boards on how to do stuff. I need a class. :scratchin:

I have just started one.:goodvibes I have the link in my siggie. Thanks for asking.

I went looking for your YC/BC thread, I couldn't find it, can you post the link, I love that place. I was really torn between BCV and BWV when buying into DVC.

Wow! Raglan Road looked Yum-O! I ate there in June 2006 and I wasn't impressed with what I got, but I may need to try it again!

Still enjoying your TR, love your detailed updates!

DawnMaree, I am back online (finally!) Still lots of things to organize here, so just a brief thanks for the great updates! Raglan Road never appealed to me (Ireland is just around the corner from here), but I really liked the look of the Creme Brulee cake... :rolleyes1

Hey DM: I just added you on myspace!
I know! And I added you! Now we really are friends...

Thanks. I'm pretty smart when I want to be. I could give you a brief lesson if you want to know how...:teacher:

The link is in my siggie, except that it's a bit "hidden". Look for the "Yacht Club" that is underlined. I made the link for myself so I can go to it easier to update it. Remember, it is very new and totally a "work in progress".

It was yummo for us. Sorry you had an unimpressing meal. I know it can happen to anyone anywhere. That's why I try to see what the majority of people say about a place besides just one or two, especially when you see a bad review.

Welcome back. I knew that you have been busy moving. I hope it is going well for you. To be honest, not much Irish food really does appeal to me. But I do love my meat.

I find the Daily Notification doesn't work for me... I never get notified. Only the "instant" one - which I only use for the "Swan/Dolphin" thread. For everything else, I'm using the User CP - just like you taught me! :thumbsup2

Spending the whole morning getting caught up on your trip report :goodvibes . Been so busy with school going back and DD's back at dance. Also busy shopping for our trip in 23 days  . I don't think I'm going to do a trip report though. I'm not a great writer like you and some of the others. I saw your photos of the American Idol crowd at the fair. Too funny! I think Blake is is sort of cute too. Guess we have the same taste :rotfl2: in guys. RT is still the best though. Loved your pics of CRT and the video too. Brooke is such a pretty little girl in her Cinderella gown.

Sheesh. I finally got around to posting to your latest installment. It's hard to keep up eh? I understand what you mean by not having time for pre-trip reports :guilty:

Those desserts looked yummmmmmmmmy!

We are B.A....I hope you can get what that means because I don't think I can use the words on here!
I'm not quite sure what B.A. means. I'm taking a guess and thinking bad butts?

So.......you've just never WANTED to be smart on the DIS right??? :lmao: ;)
I can be smart on the DIS. I just don't wanna. Wait a minute. Read reply to SingingMom.

I love them. Going grocery shopping today to buy more. Plus some other needed things...

Glad to know I helped ma'am. :)

Only 23 more days? Lucky. I think of Napolean Dynamite every time I say that. Have you seen that movie? It totally cracks me up. RT is still my #1 hottie. But there are few else out there that still sizzle...

And a new installment is coming up today!! I think you do a good job keeping up, considering you work. I'm just trying to keep up with things too but I'm busy in other ways. This week especially I'll be doing lots of running around with Brookie. She starts dance class tomorrow.

Wednesday, June 27...MGM Studios
Tower of Terror

Hopes:
1. More PhotoPass pictures taken
2. Alec can ride Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
3. My feet feel better with the blisters...:confused3
4. Nice afternoon rest
5. A meeting with the Dream Team

Wants:
1. Ride Tower of Terror with Alec...
2. A good lunch at Sci-Fi Dine In
3. Get pictures with Lightning McQueen & Mater
4. Meet up with tnmomof4 to hand off Felicia
5. Return to MGM Studios for late EMH

This day is so hard to explain in a general sense. So I will have to go into detail with you all. Our morning started out just like any morning. I awoke to obnoxious Stitch and jumped in the shower while Rob went and got us refills on our mugs. The kids awoke after I was out of the shower and ate whatever we had. I honestly can’t remember. They never really ate too well in the morning and I was a bad mommy for that. Evan still remembers that we "didn’t feed him" in the morning. Okay, Evan, we fed you but just not enough.

I was excited about this day as I just could not wait to take Alec on Tower of Terror. That was the ride we had been anticipating the most in planning our trip. When we arrived at MGM and were dropped off at the bus stop (again, the furthest away than any other) we made our way to the gates. The park had just opened and we had a little line entering.

First we picked up our double stroller, of course, and then we made our way down Hollywood Boulevard and cut over onto Sunset Boulevard. There it was! The Tower of Terror. Oh, I could feel the excitement building inside.

We saw the standby line said 20 minutes. We got ourselves some child swap passes and Evan, Alec & I hopped in line while Rob headed over to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster to get us some FPs. I instructed him to meet us back in the gift shop.

So, we get in line and, of course, Alec wants to know why we have to wait in such a long line. He’s tired of waiting in lines. Uhm, we just got in line and this was the first of the day. But he was cute enough to pose for a picture while waiting.
P1000885.jpg

There was this teenage girl ahead of us in line. She kept looking back. I assumed she was with the family in front of her at first. I could tell that she was listening in to my conversation with the boys. She then finally got up the courage to ask if we have ever been on Tower of Terror. I told her that I have many times and Evan had once but this was Alec’s first time. She then totally relaxed and said that she was there with her dad, who was a total chicken to go on any fast rides, and her step-mom, who was pregnant with twins. So, this poor girl was riding rides alone and this was her first time on ToT. Being the nurturing person I am, I asked her if she wanted to sit next to us on the ride. I did warn her that I was going to ask her for the front row. She seemed relieved to ride with someone and did not even care where on the ride she was sitting.

Meanwhile, you know I have to take some more pictures while in line. I can’t even tell you how many of this same picture I have. I think it’s kind of like Cinderella’s Castle. You just have to take it. I have noticed the same picture on many other’s TRs.
P1000884.jpg

Oh, and looky over here. This looks pretty. I gotta get me a picture of it.
P1000886.jpg

Finally, the whole wait of 15 minutes, if that, we were in the Hollywood Hotel’s Library waiting for good old Rod (who, as a little bit of trivia, was from the Syracuse, NY area). I loved ToT once again and here is my bad redneck picture. I think I was adjusting my hair flying in my face. The teenage girl is sitting to the right of Evan. Notice Alec hanging on to me for dear life.
P1000889.jpg

Rob was patiently waiting for us exactly where I told him to be. He earned his brownie point for the day. The boys wanted to go on ToT again so Rob took them while Brookie and I looked around the shop. They were pretty quick and I forgot to redneck their pic. But at least I got mine!

We still had a couple of minutes to kill before our FP time at Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and we were a little bit hungry. We had ADRs at Sci-Fi at 11:30 am so I didn’t want to hurt our appetite.
tottornrc.jpg

We decided on a sharing a couple of pretzels and water. Here is my most thrilling picture of a pretzel...
P1000890.jpg

It wasn’t that good but it did the trick. Time was up for our Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster FPs so we headed over there. We weren’t sure about Alec making the 48-inch mark this time but felt more confident since he made it at Primeval Whirl. However, Rob took Evan on it first while Alec, Brookie and I waited and waited....and waited...

Next update...June 27...MGM Studios...Rock 'n' Roller Coaster

We did the same for TOT with a little boy. His mom didn't want to ride and we said he could stay with us. My poor sister in law had both him and my nephew hanging on for dear life while my mom and I are laughing our butts off.
