From mousesavers.com:

"As of 11/19/01, all Disneyland Annual Passes give you admission to both parks. (Formerly you could get Disneyland only or 2-Park Annual Passes.) The net result is that the price of getting into both parks for a year has dropped by up to $100!"

Why don't they discount tickets for Walt Disney World? The attendance is actually up at Disneyland, but down at WDW. Looks like you would discount where your lower attendance is?

I am not sure why they do alot of things that they do....this included. I wish they would discount the tix at WDW....it costs me 1068.00 for 4 day hoppers for my family of 6. This is for tix only! However, we went to DL/DCA in Oct. and got a great deal on tix/hotel. They had tix buy one adult, get 1 child ticket free! The adult 4 day hopper was 111.00, so we got 4 day hoppers for all of us for 333.00!! Plus this included 1 EE day (we stayed offsite) and each person got 10.00 to spend at the ESPN game room! (my kids had a blast there) !! We weren't going to go again until March or April, but with the great prices we got, we couldn't resist! And we surprised the kids!! It was so fun. We had a blast the whole time we were there, and there were NO LINES!!!! We positively LOVED Soarin Over California!!! However, as much as I loved it, I did kind of miss Epcot!! I love the world showcase! But of course, I will go back again someday, and DL is 100 times better than the MK!! Anyway, sorry to ramble on, and I really can't answer your question!!! LOL!!!!:D

Disneyland is now a part of Disneyland Resort, comprised of 2 parks--DL and DCA. It was just a matter of time before there would be an annual pass that allowed admission to both parks. Just like an annual WDW pass grants you admission to 4 parks. In fact, the premium pass grants admission to water parks, Pleasure Island and Wide World of Sports as well.

So Disneyland Resort isn't offering discounts. They are finally offering the same type of pass that WDW offers.
