Why do people always try to put you in the middle of their divorce/custody fight?

...and why do they always try to get you to tell them what the ex said? Seriously, I am not going to divulge your secrets, so why would I tell you about what your ex said about you?

My ex-SIL divorced my BIL last year. Right up front we told them it is none of our business and will not take sides nor talk about it.

I think she was put out about it. OK by us we didn't hear the he/she said stories.


Advise to all......Stay out of it.
