In all honesty, the perks have been worthless to me thus far. I don't visit that often so the AP is too much. The souvenir discount is nominal. I vacation in January so pool-hopping is out. Not having to grab cash for the laundry machine is probably my best benefit.
Is there a perk you were really looking forward to? Because between AAA, being a Disney Visa cardholder, or some other program it's probably still available to you.
The thing that bugs me most about DVC perks is Disney management just doesn't understand how their system works. They did this huge anniversary perk/celebration for DVC. And announced it all less than 11 months out... meaning if you got to do anything for the anniversary it was just dumb luck. That was extremely aggravating.
