Why can't I get through to Disney Dining?

I've called about four times today and held on for fifteen + minutes each and still no answer. At this rate, by the time I pay my phone bill, I won't be able to eat anything except chips and dip. Is there something special going on that would keep the staff members from answering the phone in a timely fashion?

I've been calling all day too. I have an unlimited phone plan and I held for 30 minutes four times already! I tried a few other numbers and they all have very large waits. This is ridiculous.

I was on hold too, for what seemed an eternity! I even hung up by accident and had to call back and start waiting all over again!
Hang in there, I did and I did get through and ordered my DDE today.

A few weeks ago I had lots of trouble getting through. They are getting jammed with Easter, May and June visitors.

I had much better luck getting through in the evenings - after 7 p.m. EST. Give that a try.

I made our first PS this morning for our June trip and I was on hold for 35 minutes before someone finally answered. They must be TOTALLY SWAMPED!!!

I gave up trying in the mornings.. I was on hold forever. I found after 5pm its a lot better. I just called about 10 minutes ago and was only on hold for about 3 minutes.

If you have an AP, try passholders services (DVC use member sevices). I have always got right through to make a PS when calling them.

People might not know about the toll free number. I decided that I would just pay the phone charges...first call waited less than 1 min. and second time no wait, as the phone was answered right away! Talk about great service!

Called at 7pm last night and got right through. This was after being on hold for more than 1 hour throughout the day yesterday.
