Why can you NOT book a week at one time if there is cash night int he middle??

Well I mean you can book but I was told today that the computer system sees it as 3 different ressies. I had booked BCV at the 7 month mark which was Dec. 21st for 7 nights and today I decided to do one of the weekends a cash night and when I called to do that..it was available but she said I would have to book 21st through 24th, then cash on the 25th but I would have to call back on friday to get my other points nights. I was so confused by this. I just said fine.

Until the most recent change in the reservation policy, you could reserve the entire reservation 11 months from your departure date. With the change based on arrival date you are wanting to make 3 different reservations - the first few nights on points, a cash night and another point stay and you'll need to call 11 months from the arrival of each reservation.

Of course, you can still call 11 months from the departure date and reserve the entire stay with one call.
