Am I missing something ? ding today from MDW to MCO that's $18 MORE than the regular fare for the exact same flight why would they even put that up as a Ding ?
Did you check every flight for everyday that the ding! covers? Or heck, maybe they hope people will jump all over it and not pay attention to the regular price
your right the ding price from mdw was $20 more per person i removed the ding a few days ago and i just check prices everyday ord has had flights cheaper than swa lately when i use orbitz or expedia to check prices

I have found cheaper flights at ORD too, I guess I've just been holding out hope that Southwest would come through for me ! plus, Midway is alot closer
The Ding fare for some means, buy. If a passenger is willing to buy whatever, without checking, then it's good for Southwest. They can always use a little more dough.
Savvy passengers comparison shop, whether something is being promoted to them as a "deal" or not.
Haven't seen a single one out of MSP (for MCO which is the only airport I listed) and SWA's prices have been MORE ( a LOT more) than the others for all of the times we have wanted to go. Plus the others are non-stop and SWA stops in MDW.
