Why are they getting rid of Donald's Breakfastasaurus?

This is a bummer. My family's favorite Disney breakfast place.

Tusker House at Animal Kingdom will be closed August 20 through November 17 to be converted to a buffet service restaurant. The new restaurant will offer a character breakfast buffet, Donald's Safari Breakfast, featuring Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy (subject to change). The restaurant will also have non-character buffets for lunch and dinner. Hours will be from 8 - 10:30 a.m. for breakfast; 11:30 a.m. until park closing for lunch and dinner. When Tusker House reopens, the Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery will only operate from the outdoor window. Note that during the Tusker House renovation, the Safari Celebration Dinner Grand Gathering will be unavailable. The last Safari Grand Gathering will be on August 19; it will resume November 25.

As a result of the new character breakfast, Donald's Breakfastosaurus in Restaurantosaurus will be discontinued as of November 5, 2007. Restaurantosaurus will continue to operate daily as a quick service restaurant from 10:30 a.m. to park closing.

Looking at the Characters that were in the Donald's Breakfastasaurs, it seems they are just transferring them to Tusker House, so if that is your main concern then they will still be at breakfast with you, except at a new location.

Looking at the existing buffet's menu it is the standard pastries, scrambled eggs, omeletes, pancakes etc so it is easily transferred to another restaurant location, in this case Tusker House.
