Why are the Halloween parties so expensive at Disney Parks?

MNSSHP is geared more towards teens and adults IMO. I think it is too overwhelming for many little kids. DH and I have gone a few times and also find it to be too much for us physically at night though we enjoyed the Headless Horseman and Digger Dans. Our son and DIL on the other hand really get into it, wear a couples Disney movie outfit each time (mostly shopping closet and adding accessories). This year they have an ADR at BOG at 7:30 pm.

It is definitely expensive for a family and no one should feel like they are missing out by not going. Kids don't know the difference with all the halloween decorations up. Just go to MK some night assuming you have multi day tix and bring a zip bag each with candy and trinkets to give to them.

Enjoy!

As others said I see no reason for Disney to discount them - people are buying it - why mark it down.

The only way I see them doing that is if it was last minute day of tickets - and that would be rare since it almost always sells out - even in early September.

They sell out at the current prices and have plenty large enough crowds. Why on earth would they lower the prices? Or offer free perks? They don't need to increase attendance. If anything they should raise the price to reduce the number of attendees and make the parties a better experience with shorter lines.
