Why are the flights with va so expensive in march!!!!

Just looked up 30/3-12th april nearly £930!!!!! Economy. Easter is not till april end. Think im def gonna go in may unless We can get indirect for less than £600. Wldnt mind if it was school holidays

Schools in my area break up on the 4th April next year so it will be School holidays in some areas.

This was exactly why we are going in May now as we originally wanted to be there for my Dads bday on the 13th April.

Just looked at this as a fly drive and it is coming in at £1300 for two adults. Somebody else mentioned this idea to me when I was looking for next summer. Seem to say you don't need to collect the car.

Thanks both. Im just concerned with may as we cant go till middle as partners children's bday 13and 14th may that the half term at the end will impact on the flights as well. Decisions Decisions!!!

That is a peak time as it is during the Scottish school holidays. Also a very busy time at WDW

Middle of May should be fine - we have done that before and got sales fares.

The fares go up about a week before the longer school holidays (Easter, Summer, Christmas) and most areas start the Easter Holidays on 4th April 2014.

Have you also looked at slightly changing your date?

I checked your dates and if I picked to leave a day or 2 later and come back a day or 2 later, then I got a price of £600 each

just double checked and if you could bring both dates forward, you can get a flight for £533 27/3-10/4

Thanku. Thats def an option. Prob is as dvc owners that time is for some reason the highest points. Need to sum up spend on accommodation in march/april as wnt have enough points or go may pay a bit extra for flights and save on accommodation. THEN due to my job and its new rules regards aleave we cant book for april 2014/march 2015 till January 2014!!!!! Ridiculous.
