Checking Southwest to book for April and i noticed that the wanna get away fares are about $200-$300 cheaper than their other fares. I know it says on-line only for the wanna get away fares, but i'm still afraid to book it because I feel like there's a catch. Any ideas why the wanna get away fares are so cheap?

They are non refundable. The other types are eligible for full refunds. SW gives fare credits if you cancel, but they expire. All airlines post their non refundable fares as their cheapest offerings. There are no other catches. I always purchase Wanna Get Away fares.

I use the Wanna Get Away fares all the time! No catch. As the other poster said, they are non-refundable though. If you have to cancel, or the fares go down further, they will give you a credit you can use within one year of the date of purchase.

I've never had a problem using those fares!!! In fact, I've already booked 'em for our May trip!
