I agree that it is a toy. Its fun to play with on halloween, and if it does spell out something it is probably your subconscious. I have one and DH is constantly trying to throw it away. He is totally freaked out by it and won't ever play with it with me, even on Halloween. I don't get it, it's a piece of cardboard. Big whoop.

Yes, I went this morning. And much to my delight, they didn't have any! So I didn't have to spend my money, or talk to the manager. I will be watching at Christmas though, as the toy department is usually expanded then.....

The books-yes. I have never read them, but from what I have heard, they go against what I believe in
Magic 8 balls- I don't have a real opinion of them. You just shake them right, and the water makes one answer float to the top (correct?) but with the Oiuja board,you are inviting spirits into your home to communicate with you. People underestimate the demon world. Not something to 'toy' around with.

I just don't see how destroying every Ouiji board in the store is going to do any good. I also don't think it is your decision to make for someone else. All the store will do is put out more for sale in hopes that you will keep buying them to destroy them.

When we used to play around with the Ouiji board, there were no spirits there.

I hate to say this, because I actually think I'd be offending a few people, but anyone who goes out and burns these things is one pancake short of a full stack
