Why are Mickey ice cream sandwiches so hard to find???

The Magic Kingdom seems to be the only place where the Mickey ice cream sandwich is available. I know that I eventually found them in one other park, but it was in some obscure location and even the CM's didn't know about it--I just stumbled across them! I have looked at nearly every resort, and none have them, with the possible exception of the Contemporary (I'm pretty sure I got one there last year). This is my son's favorite Disney "food", and I have to admit, they are GOOD (I think it is cookies and cream ice cream in the middle) !! So why are they so hard to find?? Does anyone know where to find them other than MK? Thanks for any tips!

Gee, they were all over Animal Kingdom and MGM when we were there over Christmas.

We had one recently from the closest carrt to the Animal Kingdom entrance.

To me, they seem to be all over the parks.

We had them in MK at one of the kiosks just in Frontierland from Liberty Square...

Are you sure you aren't thinking of the Mickey ice cream bar on a stick? Those are absolutely everywhere, but the ice cream sandwich is very hard to find. We were there just before Christmas, and could only find them at MK. I will be thrilled if they are now offered in all the parks!! I have even asked CM's in Epcot and AK and they said only MK has the ice cream sandwich! They are great, too!! Thanks for your reply!

I was just there two weeks ago and I found them everywhere. MK, Animal Kingdom, MGM they were either by the entrance or in Animal Kingdom they were by the dinasour park. I also stayed at the ASMO and they were right in the hotel cafe.

We went to Disney over MLK weekend, but only went to Epcot and MK. Of course, I found the IC sandwiches all over MK, but could not find them in Epcot. Anyone have a specific location in Epcot to find these? Epcot seems to have the Nestle Toll House cookie ice cream sandwich instead of the Mickey one. I think I am going to write a letter to Disney and see if they can tell me all locations that sell these. Oh, almost forgot--we did find them at POR and POFQ.

The Mickey Sandwiches are good, but have you tried the millenium bar. If you let it dethaw for just a little bit, the caramel is soft and chewy with the chocolate ice cream. I had at least one a day.

The sell the ice cream sandwiches at both trading posts at Fort Wilderness (and for less money than at the parks!) and they even come around in the evenings with a horse-drawn ice cream wagon selling them! This is always the souvenir my nephew has me bring home--a dozen ice creams!

they sell them at the cart right outside RockNrollercoaster at mgm, and in front of Indianna Jones.

I also got one once on the bridge between Future world and the showcase at Epcot.

Isn't the millenium bar just the Goofy bar with a new wrapper? I loved the tollhouse cookie ice cream sandwiches best of all. The ones at Sleepy Hollow are very good.

We got the Mickey ice cream sandwiches in Future World at Epcot (near The Living Seas), at MK, near Rock N Roller Coaster at MGM and they were at the Mara at AKL this past weekend. LOL and here I was thinking they were the only thing that was being sold

Hmm, didn't see them at Epcot but wasn't really looking for it there though. On both my past trips they were found easily at little kiosks that rolled around to different areas at MGM though. Got one at Animal Kingdom also.

On our last trip we got the last two in the cart just outside of the Conservation Station building at AK.
