Why am I so indecisive? :confused3 This shouldn't be this hard. I can never make decisions like this. I have been on here a million times asked a million questions and I still have no answer for myself. We booked our trip a couple weeks ago for Dec 7-14 I did research it seemed like a great time. Lower crowds, decent weather and all the Christmas stuff. Well now I am seeing that the week before Thanksgiving might be even lower crowds. That is our main concern LOW crowds. We just cannot deal with 60 minute waits, not being able to move and just over all ridiculous crowds. I know it will never be empty but we want to enjoy it and soak it all up and not be zig zagging through crowds all day long. Looking at easywdw November looks pretty good from the 16-23 I know its an estimate but it looks like lower crowds than last years Dec week we are going. But then I looked at touring plans previous years and last year it showed that week in November being more crowded than the second week in Dec. I know all sites will differ and each year will differ plus non of this is exact. But goodness I cannot just decide. I dont even have a gut feeling of when we should go. Obviously crowds are our biggest concern and if it wasn't for weather, Christmas and closings we would go in Jan but those other things just cancel that month out and Sept is too hot plus DH can't take off that month from work. Please help. I am wrecking my brain with this and I shouldn't be. I just want to make the most of it and everyone in my family enjoy it. Especially DH I dont want him hating me because the crowds were ridiculous again. Is there really going to be a huge difference from the two weeks? Should we keep Dec and just enjoy it or switch to November because it will make a noticable difference. Help me Disney gurus!!! (although I am sure ya'll are sick of my same questions ):rolleyes2

I am going the 7th through the 14th myself. I was there about the same time 2 years ago; the crowds are not bad at all. I would just stick with your current reservations and enjoy all the Christmas stuff while y'all are there.

You're over thinking it. The difference between pre-Thanksgiving and post-Thanksgiving will probably not be noticeable to you.

'11 & '12 we were there post-T. '13 we were there pre-T. No difference in lines. The popular rides will still be a "long" wait. Small world for us is always a walk on - it takes 5mins just to walk down to the boat :lmao: Peter Pan, Ariel, etc, will still be a wait, more so in the afternoons. But the longest we've ever seen was 60mins (TSM, Test Track, Soaring), where in summer this could be a 2hr wait.

Avoid MK during the weekends. Book FP+ for the popular rides, book your ADRs at 180 days. Stick to Dec, it's a great time with all the Christmas decor.

That was my thought. One crowd point either way isn't going to make or break a trip. Don't make yourself crazy over things that shouldn't be making you crazy.

Yeah id have to agree with the over poster. You are over thinking this! Both are great time of year to go as far as low crowds are concerned.

Ok thanks. I def think it will be easier keeping our reservations where they are and not having to move things around. I just really didn't want to make the mistake of picking Dec and we get there and crowds are ridiculous. I keep reading that though those time used to be low crowds they are changing every year and getting more crowded. That's why I am second guessing it. But if you all think that it really would make not much a difference than we will stay with Dec. I am totally ok with obvious popular rides, PP, TSM, Soarin those all being long waits and we will FP+ them. I just can't handle all the rides being 30 minutes plus. With my little ones we can stand to do a few 20/30 minute waits but def not every attraction and meet and greet. Like I said my kids will be almost 6 and 2.5, we probably wont do any of the mountains, unless my husband wants to ride them alone and we wont do TOT or Rock N Roll at HS. Our only concern for Epcot is we will want to do TS and Soarin but pretty sure were doing two days there, one night and one full day so we can use FP+ for both of those.

I don't think you should worry about that. With the holidays looming, a lot of people don't go. I'm going 12/15-12/22 The only reason I (personally) can do this is because I will have finished my shopping and everything will be wrapped. I'm an over planner so that helps a great deal

This is what I am worried about too haha I try and get things done early but it never happens as fast as I want. I will def have to get A LOT done in November before we even leave. I hate doing shopping close to Christmas.

I won't do it. For me it takes away from the holidays. I don't like the pressure of last minute shopping. I also don't like purchasing something so I have a present under the tree. I would prefer to shop early and buy exactly what I think you would want.
