Why a Droid vs iPhone? Why Verizon instead of AT&T? Sell me. (Update -got my iPhone!

We switched from Att iPhones to the Verizon droid and eris a year ago after having moved to the DC area and were never able to use them. There were too many people with iPhones in the area so access to using the features (internet, phone) were abysmal! So we switched over to Verizon and had much better service. We missed the iPhones for a while but are happy with our droids, however we are considering making the switch back to the iPhone once it comes available for Verizon next year.

I have an iphone and my husband recently got a droid (has verizon thru work). We both feel our phones are great. They do almost the same things -- both has good service and apps. We live the the chicago area and have good coverage with either phone.

Go with the phone service that is best in your area.

I DID IT! I got my AT&T iPhone today.

For us it was all about coverage. About a month ago, my husband bought us both iphones. I adored it. Loved the look, the apps, being able to play my music on it. But it didn't do me a lot of good when I couldn't make a phone call! My husband missed a business call that completely messed with his schedule.

After a week of pure frustration, we took them back and got droids instead. In terms of looks and user-friendliness, I prefer the iphone. But, now that I'm used to my Incredible, I am very happy with it. There are more apps than I could possibly need, I prefer the calendar, and it is a lot of fun. Most importantly, the phone works!
