Whose just back from CBR??

I would like to know about your stay and what kind of shape the rooms are in etc. Thanks!!

I was there in both Sept/Oct 2004 and again in Jan 2005 and I stayed in Jamaica both times and the rooms were great...no funny smells, or worn looking furnishings, the a/c and heat worked well. The only thing that I can think of was that during the Jan stay both of the lights over the beds were out. Of course I didn't find that out until bedtime, but I called the next am and when I came back it was all taken care of. We stayed there in Dec. 2004. Our room was in Trinidad North. It was in excellent condition and it had a refrigerator.

Like TammyA, we were there in December 04 andfound things to be great - rooms were clean, nothing dirty or broken, fridge in the room, resort was clean and quiet. No complaints at all.

I was there 26 Mar til 1 Apr 2005!!!! Jamaica building 43, room 57 (second floor). The first room that they put us in was a smoking room, so we had to wait around 1.5 hours to get switched to a non-smoking. I thought our room was in very good shape and everything worked like it was supposed to! We have no complaints and are glad we tried CBR. (We have stayed POR, POFQ, and AKL for our last 5 visits).

We just got back on Monday, and we loved the CBR!!! The rooms were OK, but the grounds are SO lush and tropical that it felt heavenly! We wound up in Barbados and I was pleasantly surprised by the location. Our room faced a very tropical courtyard with brightly colored umbrellas and tables/chairs. It was very quiet. We were steps away from Martinique, and the walk to the foodcourts/main pool didn't take long at all. Dd loved hanging out in a hammock on the beach and playing the steel drum at Old Port Royale.

We stayed at the CSR last Christmas, but the CBR really won us over with the relaxed atmosphere. The colypso music and Jimmy Buffett songs, people strolling along in flip-flops with relaxed smiles and beautiful tropical landscaping and brightly colored buildings really won us over!
