:confused3 Santa's for delivering all the gifts? Or the Easter Bunny for hiding the eggs?:confused3

My DD left the Easter Bunny a note informing him that she wanted her Easter eggs outside. Did I mention it was cold here???

The Easter Bunny usually takes an Ambien on Saturday nights,:sad2: but the Easter Bunny is afraid of oversleeping!

I am so glad my kids are a little outside the age of believing that a bunny can hide so many eggs in the house. Teenager had a party last night, so I just went this morning and tossed some around the house. Much easier than the later night staying up to make sure everything was perfect when they woke up. I even had to drag them to the store with me last night to get the plastic eggs to fill:lmao:

We have not seen the Easter Bunny around here in years. Santa, however, still has us on the list.

Our egg hunt was short and sweet. The EB hid them inside this year as it is 21 degrees outside. Brrrrrrr. LOL! One egg was under the cat!!!

Santa's job is much more labor intensive!!!! No contest!

Santa's job includes at least 2 months or preparations...the Easter Bunny needs only 1 week to prep. around here. ;)

**I found both of DS9's big Easter treats just yesterday at the mall...didn't think I'd see either of them, but I did!!

I don't know why but this really has me laughing :rotfl:

The hen that lays all those darned colored eggs has the toughest job, IMHO.

I voted Santa. The rabbit is delivering candy to a smaller group, compared to Santa who basically must deliver much more expensive and elaborate items AND candy. Santa is also busting his hump to fulfill specific gift requests, while EB seldom must go too far out of his way for a particular kind of chocolate. EB can breathe a sigh of relief each year that there is still a demand for this work to be done such that HE does not end up on the Easter dinner table(I know rabbit isn't common here in the U.S., but hey...it happens.) Granted, Santa has LOTS of helpers, and what does EB get...those little chicks? Santa thanks his lucky stars on Christmas Eve he doesn't have a flock of those running around like, well like chickens(and of course the elves "clean up" after themselves if you know what I mean.)
Certainly both of these holiday icons are to be saluted for their service, but when it comes to the yeoman's job, Santa is THE MAN.:)

Ok, Santa my kids were able to deal with. They did not appreciate the easter bunny. The thought of some giant rabbit running around hiding eggs just freaked them out. They didn't believe it, and used the dogs as proof. They were more than willing to accept that mom did all the work. They were ok with that. :rotfl:

Now Santa, they were willing to continue believing in a man in a red suit coming to visit. Especially since mom said that that they had better believe or no presents. :lmao:

Easter Bunny has it way easier, no real shopping, wrapping, hiding, hauling back out again, major wrapping paper clean up, etc. The Easter Bunny stopped at Target, in and out in about 15 minutes, 5 minutes of basket loading and hiding. CUSH job!

In our house, the Easter Bunny, hands down. Santa pretty much hits the store and buys whatever DS asked for and then picks out some things for the stocking (which "he" enjoys doing). It was always family tradition in my family that Santa didn't wrap our presents (made for better "WOW!" photos when we looked under the tree for the first time Christmas morning) so pretty much all Santa has to do is wait until DS is sound asleep and then hang up the stocking and arrange an unwrapped present or two.

The Easter Bunny, on the other hand, has to pick out the right combo of candy and toys (again, something "he" enjoys) and pick out a basket. Then "he" has to wait until DS is sound asleep and then go into motion finding a hiding place for the basket and stuffing the plastic eggs with money, jelly beans, M&M's, etc. Then EB #2 hides the eggs in places he didn't hide them last year, while EB#1 stuffs the basket artfully (even though DS rips through it so fast it doesn't matter). Then EB#2 scatters jelly beans in the JB trail to the basket. Then EB#1 has to neaten up the trail, because her father was ridiculously precise with the jbs when she was a kid and EB#2 just doesn't do it right and even though she knows she needs to relax about it, she is a tradition based little bunny.

I enjoy both holidays - Easter is nice but LOVE Christmas - but I have to say the EB has a more labor intense job in this family.
