If I recall correctly, one of the things the UG points out is that your touring plan matters much more than the day of the week choice.

We also subscribe to TGM and read UG and we create a hybrid of sorts.

You can bet that I will be picking up the 2007 UG as soon as it is in the store~and I have subscribed to TGM each time we have gone.

I would go with TGM. He has the most up-to-date info and changes his recommendations accordingly....

So does touringplans.com!!

It doesn't seem like TGM has a huge staff (maybe even just him and some web designer (who should be fired)) and although he is very friendly on the site, touringplans.com does EXTENSIVE research -- from what I understand, they look at hotel reservatons and all sorts of info upon which to base their recommendations while TGM would just say "we avoid this day because it is EMH" or some such thing.

It drives me crazy that people say TGM is more up-to-date -- when I subscribed to TGM, I kept waiting for EE info (and all sorts of other info) while the VERY DAY of hard openings, touringplans.com had an EXCELLENT touring plan including EE that had been scientifically tested with control groups all during soft openings. While Mike is escorting big shots for tons of $$, the UOG team is actually testing everything to do with the parks. For Mike, TGM is a side-line and sometimes it shows in late and missing info.

Have used both. Prefer the UG,love it in fact. If there are announcements/changes/updates this info I have found sooner on the touring plans website than TGM. It is great not to wait on lines anymore.

We've never tried UG, only TGM. When we were there in June, TGM's best days were right on the money. I've already resubscribed for our next trip.
