Who's the most elusive Princess/character to get photos with?

launchpad was actually out for a bit last year doing a stint at DAK.

this is why I note everything is on rotation. when a character is out, they're out fairly consistently (with possible exceptions to when marie and clara cluck were doing their thing).

We had a hard time finding Donald in his blue sailor suit. We saw him at Chef Mickey's, Epcot with the sombrero, AK with his safari outfit but wanted a pic with him in his original blue sailor shirt. Finally we saw him in DHS this way.

You can meet Pochahontas at the conservation station in AK.

As far as "typical" characters, I think we pretty much saw everyone. I loved seeing all the Alice characters at the MNSSHP!

We really wanted pictures with Snow White on our trip last month, but she was one that we never did see.

as someone else mentioned I believe, snow appears daily in epcot by germany, usually with dopey.

We saw Snow White in Epcot..her line was long!!!! bradk thanks for the info on where to find many of the characters. We love eeyore. I guess a Character breakfast will be in order to see him??

has anyone ever told you that you would make a great Ariel? I've seen your posts before but never noticed until now that you have a strong resemblance to her!

actually, let me correct myself, sorry.

i got confused and things have changed.

snow prince has been at MVMCP but i'm not sure how things will go this year because they're down to just 1 room at the toontown hall of fame unless they use pixie hollow as well or find some other accomodations.

Brad are you saying the Toontown is different from my last visit (the last time in toon town there were 3 lines, one for Princesses, one for classic characters, and another line that escapes me since we didnt get in that line)

Are you saying Mickey Mouse had his own meet and greet area in ToonTown?

I know that Minnie would make an appearance at the exit to her house, as well as Pluto from time to time...

TIA

I read Steve Soars site

If you scroll down there is a list of characters and where they can be found (clicked on Epcot, scroll down to World Showcase)

DH and I went to WDW for the first time in about 20 years last month. We had a blast:cool1: We're planning a new trip in June and bringing more family along. A few observations: 20 years ago we had a hard time finding MM himself in the parks and finally got pics with him in Epcot. Would you believe we only saw him once this time around too and that was from afar in MK while he was in a show? Granted we did no character meals..so it was just a hit or miss thing seeing characters or princesses. Who is the most hard to find princess or character in the World? We saw Jiminy Cricket signing autographs and almost waited to have a photo with him..but the line was really long. I DID get a photo with Aurora in Epcot and was very happy about that. She was signing outside the France area. So.....who's the big "get" as far as character photos?

Im going in less than a week could you tell me where and approx. when you saw Jiminy Cricket? Thanks in advance.

We love eeyore. I guess a Character breakfast will be in order to see him??

Eeyore will definitely be at Crystal Palace. We also saw him at Animal Kingdom, although those characters do rotate. One day it was Pooh & Tigger, the next it was Eeyore and Pooh. All 4 were there at one point in the day, but 2 left and didn't come back. It is at the character landing spot when walking from Discovery Island to Dinoland, I believe.

Im going in less than a week could you tell me where and approx. when you saw Jiminy Cricket? Thanks in advance.

We saw Jiminy Cricket at the Animal Kingdom Conversation Station during both of our trips, Sept '07 & Sept '08. I've never seen him at MK so no help there.

when we went in Sept we could not find Snow White anywhere. She is one hard lasy to find!!! We tried Epcot in Germany 3 days... Dopey was alone... no Snow White. They said she was in the forest doing something...:confused3

We saw Jiminy Cricket a few weeks ago in front of the Kodac place on the right when you walk into the MK around 11 AM.. line was like 5 mins long.

I have to disagree, sorry. Pocahontas Is considered part of the Princess franchise. She's in the Doll line,She has a dress up with accessories,She has a PVC set etc..now she may not have as much merchandise as Cinderella,Aurora,Belle,Snow White BUT Pocahontas,Mulan and Jasmine as well ARE Disney Princess in full right. She is also meeting people at AK Conservation Station.

We saw every other princess in Epcot - we even saw Mary Poppins and Alice, but never once saw Snow White.

Actually Mulan is not a princess, her father wasn't a king or a prince and Shang who she later marries in the second movie, was a Captain then later promoted to General. So Though she might have a doll in the princess line she really isn't a true princess by birth or marriage. I still love Mulan though.:lovestruc

first, eeyore... eeyore can be found on a daily basis at both the character landing in DAK with pooh, tigger and piglet as well as in the UK pavilion in the back of the toy soldier with pooh and tigger

at this point in time, i'm not aware of any character exclusive to meals except for ariel with legs.

as for toontown, the deal is this..

there used to be 3 lines. 1 of which, the pooh line, had been out of commission since the pooh playground was introduced and greetings just happened near there. so there were 2 remaining rooms: princess and mickey's friends.

with the introduction of pixie hollow, they've eliminated the mickey's friends room, leaving just the princess room. so how this will carry on to MVMCP is beyond me since during parties, they could have used all 3 rooms, even if only 2 were used during the day.

as it is, MNSSH is only using 1 room.

and all the characters from the mickey's friend room have been displaced. minnie is with mickey at the judge's tent for example and donald is in frontierland.

Lynn 5700 that is the coolest picture ever - my kids would go crazy if they got to stand with all those characters at one time.

When she is not in Germany, she also can be found in Town Square.

Jiminy Cricket can be found at RPW at AK, and also in Town Square near Expo Hall (usually from around 9:30am til 3pm).

There is currently only 1 room open in Toontown, and it is for the Princesses. The Fairy room should be opening Oct 26, and the VIPs now meet elsewhere (Pluto in Town Square, Goofy and Donald in Frontierland). Minnie is meeting next door in the Judge's Tent with Mickey.

Eeyore can be found in the UK, as well as the Character Landing at AK.

Ok, you're right, Pocahontas and Mulan may be considered a part by Disney's official words....but their merchandising actions speak much much louder. I haven't seen Pocahontas and Mulan on any of the "Princess" merchandise...you know the bubble gum pink packaged stuff that abounds in the Disney stores, at the parks, and even half an aisle at Walmart (in competition with that insipid Barbie, lol)...and believe me, we probably have 50% of the available Princess "stuff" and clothing in our house, lol. Jasmine is often on it, Snow WHite is occasionally on it (more lately than in years past)....Ariel is another that was hit and miss for many years, but recently is showing up more and more with the "girls" and more and more in her pink dress or white wedding gown instead of fins. Thank heavens, because I have one Ariel loving kid and one Belle (hence my DIS name)....and the tears flowed many times when the Princess items we bought had Belle (with others, usually Aurora & Cindrella) but not Ariel. Of course, lately more and more "just" Ariel stuff (with fins) is coming out and of course now the tears are from the Belle lover, lol. Belle-kid keeps hoping that they'll re-release the Beauty & The Beast DVD so that more Belle items will come out in merchandising, lol. Instead her sister/Ariel got the new movie a couple months ago and more Little Mermaid merchandise appears.

Yes, there are dolls of Pocahontas and Mulan....we have all of those, but the dresses that are accessories are not even close to something that would be in any part of her story. We also have the Prince dolls, and there is no John Smith or Mulan beau (can't recall his name right now, lol).

And yes, there are the PVC figures, but there are also Pooh, Jungle Book and some other stories, those figures are NOT exclusive to Princesses.

I'm thrilled to hear Pocahontas is out and about still....I thought for sure once her show was closed she was done for, and haven't heard anything on the DIS about her, nor seen photos, so I'm looking forward to finding her. Since I have some Indian blood in me (Dad was raised on a reservation left for college and met mom)....she's always been a little special to me, even though she's not quite authentic according to that side of my family. But since I'm not blonde, blue eyed, nor dainty like Snow....I always feel akin to Jasmine and Pocahontas in both coloring and "high spirit".

And now with the new Tink movies and the fairy merchandise that has been out for over a year now....I think Tink is going to take center stage in merchandise for a while so Pocahontas and Mulan may have to continue to wait for their turn truly center stage. LOVED the new Tink movie by the way (friend got a copy from the retail store she works at.....naughty her...but it's very humorous and I can see quite a few things coming out of that movie and into the parks or at least Pixie Hollow).

Poor Mulan.......I thought she was a Princess......Hmmmm thats like finding out if eat choclate standing up the calories still count.:goodvibes
