Meeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!
I just got back from seeing Unstoppable. What a great movie!! I highly recommend it... and not just because Chris Pine has the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. LOL.
Now, that hasn't been nominated. But the reason I bring it up (other than to just recommend a good movie) is because, for the first time, I saw the full theatrical trailer for The Tourist. Not sure how I've missed seeing it up until this point.
I haven't seen the movie yet. But when it was nominated in the Comedy category, there was an awful lot of kerfluffle as to why it was put in that category (and why it was nominated in the first place). Can't comment on the latter, but after seeing the trailer it certainly seems that this isn't supposed to be a completely serious drama in the realm of, say... The King's Speech. Every clip I saw was comical in a Chuck sort of way.
Like I said, I haven't seen it. I'll wait until the DVD comes out or it shows up in the cheap theater. But based on the trailer, it doesn't seem as odd to me as it did originally. (The Comedy aspect... not the nomination itself.)
