oh and they say you have to pick up a map at your local Volvo dealership which will have a secret code for you to start the hunt.

You need to get a map from either a Volvo dealer or have one mailed to you. My brother mailed me one over here, log into the volvo/hunt site and start following the clues. I have found it fun and interesting. Right now I am waiting to get into Cape Horn. Good luck.

The Hunt is a fun game, even if you are terrible at riddles (like me). It's challenging, and it keeps you guessing all the time. I'm still stuck on Madeira...

We wanted to play, but there is no Volvo dealership where we live (the nearest one is a 40 minute airplane flight and a rental car away) and Volvo won't send me a map....sigh

From what I was told, any Volvo dealership would mail you one, corp Volvo will not. The contest is almost over and it has been a challenge!
