Great list ladies!
For our family, Kona Cafe has been the "have to go" place for us for breakfast at least two or three times a trip. I think it is a great value and the food is always tasty and excellent. My boys always eat every last bite, and are full for at least half the day. LOL! Have you had the specialty flavored coffees there? My wife and son love them. Never been there for lunch or dinner - but would love to try it sometime.
Ohana - Tried to get in the last three trips - no ressies available.
Sci-Fi - Another family favorite. Always have had a good experience and food here. I love the Beef & Blue lettuce wedge, boys like the burgers and onion rings. The shakes are good here too. The atmosphere here is rad!
Cosmic Rays - Good place for a quick bite. My son Jeremy likes the show. Figures.
Auntie Gravities - Best smoothies in the parks! Highly recommend this place! Sneak it on the Peoplemover and you will be in heaven.
Casey's Corner - Pretty good hot dogs. Boys like the corn dog nuggets.
Peco's Bill - Just another burger place at Disney. Decent for a quick bite.
Aloha Isle - If you don't have a Pineapple Dole Whip here every time you visit, then you are not a true Disney fanatic.
Electric Umbrella - Good for a quick bite. The meatball sub is decent. It has also become a unofficial meet-up location for us and our friends. LOL!
Rainforest Cafe - I am not a big fan of this place, too many kids running around trying to touch the animatronics and it is always hard to carry a conversation in this place. Too loud. If I go here, go during the non-peak hours. The food is okay. A bit pricey for some items.
Earl of Sandwich - Definitely a good place to get fresh food. Always happy to go here.
McDonald's (just outside of AK) - I go to McD's maybe two or three times a year while at home. At WDW, we go here at least once. This has got to be the most expensive McDonald's in the world -well maybe just as expensive as the one in Maui, even the ones in Germany are cheaper than the ones here in the US. I don't know why we go here, but I guess it is because it is easy, quick and fast and open 24 hours.
50'a Prime Time - Tried this for the first time last month. Had an excellent meal! Gave the waitress a lot of grief and back talk. She loved it. Unfortunately, a floor manager decided to unload a list of complaints on a waiter right next to our table. Totally unprofessional while "on stage". After dinner, I had a 10 minute conversation with restaurant's leads about this floor manager's verbal assault on the waiter in front of the guests. In no way, does this discount the great meal and service from our waitress, but it did put a damper on our evening at the restaurant. Would definitely go back here again, and bring unassuming friends. LOL!
Whispering Canyon - Another fun place to visit and bring unassuming guests. The food was good and tasty. The waiter was very helpful and accommodating with our friend who had a shellfish allergy. Even the chef came out and spoke to her at length how her selection would be prepared. Class act. The hotel where it is located is amazing!
La Catina de San Angel - Another first time here last month - Let me preface this, we are Mexican food snobs. We eat, make and go out for Mexican food two or three times a week and it is big part of our culture here in SoCal. The spicier, the hotter, the burning, the better! So, be that as it may, we were not expecting too much from here. We weren't that hungry so we got the nachos and the guacamole. The guacamole was made fresh, but it wasn't spicy, just mild, so we added some pico de gallo to heat it up. Much better. The nachos were pretty good, I wish they would have used strip steak rather than ground beef, added more pico de gallo to it also. It was a big enough snack to take care of our hunger panes until the next meal. I would give this a 7.5 out of 10.
Yachtsman Steakhouse - Aged meat, cut to order, grilled to perfection, nice amenities, beautiful dinning area and excellent service. First time here again. Met up with our Orlando friends to celebrate my wife's birthday here. One of the best meals on property, in my opinion. Our friends told the waiter we were in no hurry to eat and run - so we were able to enjoy our dinner together without feeling rushed. (A good idea to remember!) Highly recommend this place!
California Grill - Date night dinner with my wife here. Excellent food and presentation. Too bad they allow kids under 12 here. The atmosphere is and views are stunning. Plus MK fireworks from the outdoor viewing area was very romantic and spectacular.
Ok - I am sure I am missing some other places, but there are my thoughts!
