Good morning from the Grand Floridian!
I am sitting here listening to the sounds of the train horn coming from Main street!

All so far has been perfect. Got in here later than I thought we would - didn't get in the room until 12:30. When we got here of course I was a mess, crying. MC said it was her favorite place on Earth. I see a Disney bride in our future.

Mark immediately took the kids out for a moonlight dip in the pool while I unpacked. We all got to sleep at 2 but I had to get up early bc our box was nowhere to be found. Finally got it this morning- concierge had it sent up for me.

We have a marina view, third floor. It is now my new fave. It literally took my breath away when I walked into the room.

Plans to meet Shelly today. I'm supposed to text her do I'm gonna do that and get ready for the day- think the coffee has kicked in enough.

Hi Jo! So glad everything is off to a great start!

It really does look like the weather is going to cooperate. How is that possible? Well, it seems I am taking the bullet down in in Louisiana for you girls over there in Florida. TS13 or Lee or whatever he/she/it becomes could possibly dump 20+ inches of rain on us over the next few days. So much for our weekend at the lake. And I was going to meet my baby girl's new BF for the first time!

So anyway, enjoy your lower temps and sunshine!

You are very welcome, Jo! And let me tell you, this would not have been good news for y'all if it was headed your way. Unlike typical storms that move in and out pretty quickly, this one is supposed to just hang around and wreck our whole Labor Day weekend.

Good luck to y'all tomorrow, too! I'm pretty nervous about our game. I don't really have a clue what to expect. I imagine we'll be watching football all day and watching the rain. I'll save my Dole Whips for then! And I'm really happy because I've never had one before!
