Just repacked mine and Belle's duffels! I know I will do that five more times between now and Thursday.
Also loaded up the Garmin with addresses so that we won't have to take the time searching for them once we are there.
Camera battery is charging, getting ready to unwrap the Flip camera that I've had for two years and never used before.
Printed out the Ultimate Packing list.
Mark has gone shopping. I'm shocked. You think I'm a procrastinator???

I pack soap for the counter too!! and i usually bring soap for the tub/shower...I have been known to buy a $ toothbrush holder from the dollar store so my toothbrushes don't live in the coffee cup on the counter all week!
you are getting a lot accomplished! Way to go!! I told Mike today that I just can't wait for it to get here!! It's only been 10 months, but for some reason this year seems like a lot longer than that. maybe cuz I am following you girls on your TR!! glad Shelly is having fun!!! Nothing yet, It's still south of us, but we are right on the line and I have to tell you I am a lil bit nervous about a couple of the big trees near the house. When we went thru Gloria in 1985 we were living in a new development so no big trees other than up on the hill behind us. I remember standing watching them lift up and down but none ever fell.
Oh I messed up too , forgot to buy lantern batteries for the big flashlight

So on my list of things to do today (that doesn't exactly exist physically-- it's more of a running list in my brain, fueled by having the ultimate packing List staring at me) I have to clean and shop for just a couple of things for the week- bread and such. Been trying to clean out the pantry and fridge and use what we have.
Oh and my camera is acting wonky!!!!
It's a Sony Cybershot and when I take a pic and try to look at it on playback, it goes haywire and reverts back to me being able to take a pic. Anyone know what might be wrong with it? It's three and a half yrs old.
I might have to get a new one if I can't figure it out. Grrrrrr.
I have $60 in Best Buy rewards, thank goodness, so I won't have to pay for the whole thing if I have to get one at least.

First of all she says to tell each of you hi!! She thought it funny you were all trying to keep me in line with the packing.
Last night they went to DTD and did some shopping (hence the shoe pic!) and then they had dinner at Pollo Campero- thought it was good.
Later on today they are going to DHS and will stay for Fantasmic!

Thanks for keeping us updated on Shelly! We'd be going crazy if we didn't know anything - like if her flights went as scheduled, check-in, and weather. So do we know if she liked VN or not? I didn't think you said, but I've seen others saying they're glad she liked it.
It sounds like you might be like me in one area (well, not just one but the one I'm about to say) I HAVE to clean my house really well right before I go on a trip. That's because I HAVE to come home to a clean house. Nothing's worse than coming home and looking around thinking the house looks dirty. It's hard enough doing all the trip laundry. And it's just a good feeling.
Shawna - I think I'll call you next time I'm going on a trip. You have a superb packing list!!
Jo - there is one thing I never travel without - flip flops or some type of shower shoe. I will not get in any hotel shower without them, much less bathe! I know, I know, why not just stay in the Days Inn if I won't touch anything! I really do try to chill on the germ thing when I'm on vacation, but if it's something easy like shower shoes, then I'm there!
Lala - stay safe up there! Can you take any pics? Not meaning go outside of course! But from the safety of your home? OT: my BF's daughter's name is Lauren, and she has been called Lala as a pet name since her baby sister was born and couldn't pronounce Lauren. So I always wonder if you're a Lauren, too!
