jo...yeah...headaches gone, but it was hanging around most of the day...just a dull little throb,but just enough to be there....I think it was the weather...and Praise the Lord...we got more rain coming this week!!! We still need all we can get, water tables are low.

I don't think I will be taking my laptop with me. I like to take a little vacation from it when I am at WDW!! But Jodi will give you little updates before she leaves. And I'll give you updates on her when I get back. You'll have to wait until the TR for most of it though!!

Surprise! Guess which post I replied to! Well, since I have little to no dining experience at AK, football it is!

Who are y'all playing? Is it the first game of the season?

I can't wait to see how Muschamp does as HC. It'll be weird when the Gators come to T-Town with him as coach. There are so many teams whose coaches we love to hate. We *hated* UM, we *hated* Tubberville, of course we *hate* Little Nicky. I don't think there are any ill feelings about Muschamp, though. Of course, if he stomps out a cigar on the eye of the tiger (Tubby), then he will be Tiger Bait, too. But I don't see that happening.

Are y'all renting a car instead of ME so that you can drive to Gainesville?

No, soccer season ended the second week of June. We will start the fall season in September. Right after we get back from WDW in-fact.

Yeah, I was surprised by the list of closures. But no, nothing too disappointing. As long as we can get the kids to Casey's once before they close!! We had talked about seeing It's Tough to be a Bug at AK since our list of things to do there is so short and we've only seen that show once. But oh well, we didn't really have our hearts set on it or anything. I'm glad we won't be missing the Backlot Tour!


Oh Jack!! What can I say, it's like my friend told me the other day -- there's a reason God makes puppies so cute - so we don't strangle them!!! So true.

Just when I think he's got the hang of 'peeing outside only' he lets one fly in the house!! IDK what to do with him. I'm thinking of shipping him off to Sheila's!!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys! Just checking in from another hot humid place - Minnesota!! Who'd a thunk? Guess it sort of stinks all over, huh?

It's gross and Sarah has her last regular season softball game tonight! Eww.

Thank you Shelly! The cruise and Alaska was mega-awesome! We had perfect, beautiful weather everyday on the cruise, very smooth sailing. Excellent food and service. Loved our mini-suite and private balcony, it was so nice. Glacier Bay was breathtaking - we saw hump back whales, orcas, seals, porpoises, bald eagles, bears, etc. Did a train ride in Skagway and tram ride in Juneau. Vancouver was rainy, but Whistler was nice. Did some hiking and saw two amazing waterfalls. Took about 5,000 pictures and 3 hours of video. Got to sort it all out and post it up on a blog.

Would highly recommend everyone to do this trip. Seeing Alaska by cruise ship is wonderful. The state is huge and so very beautiful. Princess Cruises took good care of us and we put a deposit down for future cruise!

BTW, yesterday was Disneyland's 56th birthday. We drove down to see Chris' girlfriend and take her to lunch at Blue Bayou. The park put on a mini-birthday ceremony in Town Square. Check out my video here:

We are getting a nasty storm here now. I was hoping it would cool it off a bit, but it's supposed to be in the 90's again tomorrow.

I'm telling myself that there are so many because it's a VERY slow time of year.

I think back to the January / February trips and all the refurbs going on. I agree - they only do a lot during slow times!! (well, we can hope that's the case!!!)

An Alaskan cruise is on my bucket-list! So glad you had a good time. Nothing like a cruise to help you relax!

I'll trade places with any of you girls at any time. We are in the 90s from May through October EVERY year, and most of those days are very humid. We will be in the 100s all this week. At this point in the year we can't even really go to the pool because the water feels like a hot tub. There's no relief, and it just sucks the life right out of me.

Hey, did y'all ever see the "Friends" epidsode when Phoebe was about to get married, so she was giving some of her apartment things away? She had a wall picture with a lady coming out of the frame, and she gave it to Monica, who, of course, didn't like it. Then Rachel started to play with her and was making over it, like she wanted it. So Monica called her bluff and said that she woud give it to her. I know, you had to be there, but it was so funny with the two of them "fighting" over the picture in front of Phoebe, when neither of them wanted it at all. That's what Jodi and Sheila's fight over Jack reminds me of! All that "no, you should have him" stuff. What can I say, I'm easily amused!

Shelly, he must be getting better because he was not front page news. I like that saying about why God made puppies so cute. Little Jack definitely wins you over with his cuteness! I'm sure his brain will eventually equal his beauty.
