Anyone interested in getting together for a meet and greet??? We could plan on a place and time to meet at the fort or at B&C for a Kitchen Sink if not does anyone else have any suggestions??

We arrive Thursday night and leave Monday morning.

We arrive Wed night and leave Mon morning early, unless I take another vacation day!!! Yes meeting up with everyone would be a great idea.

If you don't mind my asking...

Do you all still cook a turkey or do you eat out

No eating out for us, turkey day at the Fort -we are going to bring our smoker and smoke a turkey and what ever else we can. Also someone is going to fry a turkey for us there.

This is our first year every being away from family (my parents) on any holiday. I have cooked for my parents for the past 20 years. This year is my turn. I’ll do Thanksgiving dinner the weekend before we leave for them, bring some leftovers and on the actual day we have dinner reservations at Liberty Tree Tavern. I can’t wait. It sounds like fun to eat there on Thanksgiving.

We have reservations at the Garden Grove Rest. at the Swan for Thanksgiving dinner. We have never been there. I hope it's worth the price and better than Trails End.

We are dining over at 1900 Park Fare for Thanksgiving. I have a couple of Tremaine lovers in our house.

It may not be the family feel meal we are use to - but should be fun.

We have reservations at Artist Point for the holiday.
We had a lovely dinner there last year. Good food, good service and really good wine!

We are new to the camping boards, we have been to the fort many, we will be at the fort Nov. 17-27 2010. We would love to meet some of you, lornaduck you said you are having a turkey? We would love get together, what should we bring?
Also, those of you that talked of a meet and greet, that sounds good too. , keep us posted.

How about meeting at the Trails End the morning of the 26th for coffee? (Are they open in the morning? We have never been there?) What time would be good for everyone? I'm also open for other suggestions?

We're in for a FIEND meet up!

We're not planning to hit the parks much Thanksgiving weekend (Weds-Sun) and will be hanging around the Fort. Right now we do have plans for "Black Friday" shopping day though.

If morning coffee doesn't work, how about a GAG picnic on the beach some afternoon?

Bring your own chicken.
