Who's going the last week of April or the first week of may??

Oh-oh , I just saw the hours for MK in April and it is going to be closing at 9pm .I know it's great ,more hours ,but, is it going to be real crowded?? I picked that week thinking it was going to be real slow. I know they change the hours all the time , it has happened to me many times. Well, we are going no matter what!! So , who else will be there during those weeks?

I will be! I'm going Apr 26 - May 05 (at the GF and POR)
and getting married at the boardwalk seabreeze point on April 28th!
I saw the hours and am so excited! I'm planning and making PS's. I'm so glad the hours are finally up, but this means we have to wait forever again for the May hours!

I will be there from April 30th until May 9th. Guess I will have to wait awhile for May hours to come out.

For the past 2 trips we've gone the second week in May. I expected there wouldn't be much difference between last week in April and then. I am use to short park ours and few chances to see the fireworks.

I was so surprised to see the April hours. I too was concerned about crowds...I am fine tuning our itenary tonight and starting the PS mania tomorrow...

I'm glad you started this thread! I was just wondering about the crowds in May too; we're going May 2nd - May 7th. It will be our first time there for the Flower and Garden festival. I'm really looking forward to that, even though I know the temps will be warmer than we are used to (we usually go in December).

We'll be there. Pop Century, April 28-May 8. Our 11th F&G visit in a row. This is the best time to go to WDW. IMHO

I am hoping to be there for a day or two during this timeframe. Depends on if we can get our SkyAuction week at Daytona/Ormond Beach or not. If we get it, we will ehad over to WDW for a day or two. If not, we will be heading somewhere else around then.

We'll be there from April 21st - May 5th. We went the same time last year give or take a couple of days. The average wait time for the rides was about 10-15 minutes if that. Many were walk ons. The longest wait we had was for Peter Pan at 45 minutes. IMHO it is the best time to go.

Hey 4orm - congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Now I know the weather and crowds will have to be perfect!

I can't wait to see the May hours! My wife and I are taking her parents, our 4 y/o DD, and our twin DD's who will be nearly 2 y/o. We'll be there April 30 - May 7.

Does anyone else have friends who have been going? I know two families who just returned from Disney cruises, and a third family going to the World in March. Now, whenever we see each other, all we can do is talk about Disney!

I would assume if the Magic Kingdom runs Wishes every night like they plan then the Magic Kingdom would have to stay open until it gets dark. I am going May 1st - 10th. Orlando doesn't see total darkness until 8:30PM that time of year. I hope May hours are 9:00PM for MK......
