Who is all going in February? We are going Feb 6th -13th, flying in SNA and staying at the HOJO. My wife and I are going with our 2 children (5 & 7) along with my parents so we will take their offer and have a couple of evenings in the park for a date night :yay:.Any suggestions for a nice meal in
DD ,DP or DCA?

We will be in DL from Feb 1 to 8th, and staying at HOJO's. For downtown Disney, there is the Rainforest cafe, House of Blues, Catal, and many other good places to eat. In DL the Blue Bayou is supposed to be really good, but pricey, and Cafe Orleans is supposed to have good food but cheaper. In CA Wine Country Trattoria is supposed to be good. Perhaps some other DIser's can help you with further reccomendations about good places to eat. FWIW, MIMI's next door to HOJO's has excellent food, good atmosphere, and reasonable prices.

My wife and I will be going without our children Feb. 16-19, staying at the VGC. I am planning on one dinner at the Napa Rose, maybe lunch at the BB, and leave the other meals open for DTD or some other location of my wife's choosing. We are actually looking forward to later openings at the parks so we can sleep in for a change :)

We will be there either Feb. 1-3 or 8-10 to celebrate DD's 4th birthday. My parents are coming with us for that trip so we can also have a date night if we want. As much as I would love to stay at the DLH to celebrate as well, my BIL lives only 15 minutes from DL so there's no way to talk DH into spending the additional money.

We'll be there sometime the first 2 weeks of february. Most likely the 2-9th, but we're not sure yet. Waiting for the refurb schedule and such to come out before we set our plans in stone. Also waiting to verify airfare prices. We'll be staying at the DLH for 7 nights, traveling with our 3 kids and my in-laws (yay for built in babysitters!)

As far as dates in the park, my dh and I did a "date morning" last trip. We bought tix for my in-laws to take our ds to the Plaza Inn for the character breakfast (which they loved) and meanwhile we (along with our baby at the time who slept in the stroller) got breakfast at Carnation Cafe. My FAVORITE place for breakfast in the park and some great people watching too. It worked really well.

My wife and I found deals on SW Airlines for $89 each way from Albuquerque. I couldnt beat that deal so we bought our tickets last week (just to be sure that we wouldnt get burned later by increased prices). Anytime we can get round trip flights for around $200 we jump on them. All we need to do now is get our park hopper tickets (waiting until a bit closer to the trip) and make reservations for some of our meals.:yay:

Right now the cheapest I can find is 120 each way. Uh, no! So we're waiting. I am keeping an eye out though! Usually the better prices come with specials that occur closer to flying (for example right now JetBlue's specials only go through December). I think last time we got Jetblue for around 95 round trip.

We will be there with my in-laws. Staying in San Diego for 3 nights then checking into the HoJo for Feb 22-26.
We are WDW vets and cannot wait to tour DL and DCA, the planner in me has started already:goodvibes

We always go in February for my Birthday. Don't know exact dates yet. When Hojo releases the good AP discounts then I'll know my dates!

We're going the 23-27th and staying at the Desert Inn & Suites - can't wait - it's the first trip for my husband, son and step-daughter. :cool1:

Hopefully disneyland will have a winter special pricing for their park hoppers like they did for this past winter. Just like last year we will tell our kids at Christmas we are going ,otherwise we will here it everyday from now till February "When are going to Disneyland"!!!!!!!!!!!!

My son and I plan to be at Disneyland from February 20th to the 23rd. I want to stay at the DLH but I am a bit concerned about the construction. Hoping for a winter special of some type ;)

I am just waiting for my leave from work to be approved before I make flight reservations.

When will we know park hours and entertainment schedules?

It will be a first trip for both of us!

The TDA at DL don't release the hours and ent schedule until 5 weeks before your departure dates, and you really won't have an idea of what ent there is until around 3 weeks before your departure date, as they release the info slowly over a period of 2 weeks. It's a royal pain, but there's nothing we can do about it, other than to complain to DL about it.

Just out of curiousity, what were the parkhopper prices last year like? I am holding off buying our parkhoppers until after Christmas to see what they are priced like.

If I recall Adults payed the same price as children. I think a six day was priced at $184. We payed $688 (CND) for 4 6day park hoppers this past January. We got them through BCAA with is the Canadian version of AAA.
Hopefully we can get these tickets again for around the same price when we go in February!

Thanks! That sounds like a really good deal.

We'll be there anytime after the 18th. We are MOVING to California and doing a stop in Disneyland on the way! Can we say APs here we come?! :)

My leave was approved! :thumbsup2

Now I need to figure out how to cram everything into two park days! No hours until 5 weeks before??? That could be tough for my compulsive planning habit. Guess I am going to use historical park hours to satisfy my planning need until real hours and entertainment schedules are released.

How far in advance can I book dining? 30 days?
