Good luck to all you brides who are having weddings in the next few months. Try and relax, because I'm sure everything will be fine. And the way I see it, there is not much more you can do than sit back and enjoy it. If something isn't perfect than it makes it more memorable. remember what's important....you are marrying the one person you love most in the world.

P.s. i'm 305 days out and you are all making me nervous!!!

OH NO!! I've had that before and was hospitalized!! I couldn't stop throwing up!! We'll be praying for you!!

Try having Vertigo while all this stuff is going on!! I was diagnosed with "versibular migranes" which in other words means every month or so, my inner ear desides to play tricks on me and makes the world spin for about 2 minutes, then I'm sick for the rest of the day!! Naucious, throwing up, dizzy! I'm praying this doesnt happen on my wedding day, because if it does, that's it. It makes me totally disabled for the rest of the day. I'm more worried about this than anything else. there's no cure for this. I"m on Antivert. Which is for motion sickness but also helps with vertigo. I HOPE!! Pray this doesn't happen to me on MY DAY! Thanks!!

I just got back and I know what you are all going through--the last week specifically is quite nerve wracking--but relax...when you get to Disney--they do EVERYthing!!! I got to my rehearsal and realized I had forgotten like 5 things that my WP was supposed to get from me--he took care of everything!!! It's awesome--enjoy the ride!@!!!

OMG! How long did yours last?.. I mean in month speaking. My vertigo started in August 04 and I still get it once a month!! It's horrible and it ruins my every thought because I keep worrying that I will get it!!! It's a horrible cycle!!! But KNOCK ON WOOD, I havent had a full blown vertigo attack since May! (I've had small ones that I can recover from quickly) It's so sad!

Congratulations to everyone getting married toady, next week, next month, and next year!!! It is a very stressful time for EVERYONE!!!! Yesterday was my 34th birthday, and it went very well. I did recieve a very nice digital camera that will come in very useful during our trip. I also finalized wedding plans yesterday. Our wedding is at 630 on 9/27, on the beach at the Ritz Carlton in Palm Beach. I have put a hold on mail and paper for the dates we will be gone. Trying to think of a few other things I need to do before I go back to work on Friday. My hairdresser, who grew up in Florida, suggested I buy one of those 'hair pieces' that clip onto your hair. I remember the humidity being really bad, I didn't even style my hair during our last trip. Anyone ever use one of these? She said you just pull your hair into a ponytail and clip it on????

Oh, I did make a few favors to give out when we return home. I have ended up with 3 different types. Kisses for his work, Disney mints for mine and custom M&Ms for our close friends and family.

All the custom tshirts have arrived! I have to say I am very pleased with both, they are from disneydirect.com and zazzle.com. I think the disneydirect.com t's are better quality though. They feel soooo much better, like brushed cotton. COMFY!!!

My sister surprised us with Mickey and Minnie Champagne flutes and a bottle of 1995 Dom Perignon to take with us. That was really cool; after we guzzle down the Dom, we are going to fill it with sand from the beach we are married on.
Hows that for class lol!!!!!!

Hi Everyone!

I'm so excited, I got my very first wedding gift last night!! A friend and her DH took us out to dinner and they gave us a wedding Mickey and Minnie ornament and a candle and "topper". The "topper" is a fairly large ceramic "shade" that goes over the candle flame. It's kinda got Christmas/wedding scenes all around it with Mickey and Minnie...it is SOOO beautiful!! I'll have to try to take a pic and post it (but it probably won't be too soon! )

Okay, so I'm REALLY REALLY trying NOT to stress too much, but of course, here it is two days before our "legal" (justice of the peace) ceremony and Hurricane Ophelia is headed our way...now, I'm not panicking for the "situation" here because it really isn't going to be too much more than an overgrown thunderstorm, but my parents are driving down tomorrow and I'm worried they'll run into trouble. And my brother and SIL are flying down on Friday and I'm worried their flight will be delayed and somehow we all won't get to the courthouse in time...

I think I need to go take a few deep breaths!

Like Jamie, I'm also getting married on Oct 1 and spending the honeymoon at WL (except we arrive on Oct2). I stressed about things not looking the way I want - like my hair, the cake, my flowers, etc. No one else will care but it is driving me nuts. I've gained 5lbs in the last 2 weeks (okay no exercise and buying lunch all the time doesn't help) but luckily I was still okay in my dress at last weeks fitting. I have my final one next week and then I pick up my dress a day or two before the wedding. Surprisingly, the dress stuff doesn't worry me at all. I still have some stubborn tan lines on my shoulders from the beach last month and no matter how many times I go tanning I can't seem to get rid of them I can't concentrate at work at all - I can't imagine what it will be like in the next 2 weeks. I have to use the computer for my job but all I want to do is read the DIS boards - and considering I have no deadlines right now there is no motivation to do otherwise. I've started packing already so DH2B doesn't wear the vacation clothes as play clothes. My M&M favors came in the mail but I'm waiting until right before the wedding to make up the favor bags so nothing melts and the cats don't find them and have some fun (I only have to make 16 favor bags so no big deal). My nails refuse to grow (no gels for me b/c I always end up tearing my contact lenses with them) and I need a haircut but with the hours I'm working I don't think I'll have off when the salon is open. Am I at disneyworld yet??

I was hospitalized overnight and was given some medication for the nausea. I haven't had an attack since but I keep the pills (I think it started with a M and they are small and yellow) just in case. I'm knocking on all the wood for ya hon!

18 days here (Oct. 2nd!!! with an Oct. 3rd disneymoon at the BC) I don't even have a dress yet as I have been out of town, and was hospitalized before that. I am on my way home now and Monday I am going dress shopping. DFH has his tux and the best mans tux ordered, everything is being taken care of by our location except the dresses, which I still have to deal with. Hopefully the bridesmairds can find something that doesn't need altering and I found a great lady who will do it for me with 2 weeks to go! Catch is it has to be a simple dress...which I wanted anyways.

I'm just excited...not nervous at all...just really happy and looking forward to it. I just found out today the best man has the SAME flight as us to orlando on the 3rd!!!
