Who's Excited for the E.E. Opening?

I just remembered, Expedition Everst opens on April 7! Thats only in 4 days! Is anyone going? Does anybody know if anything special is going on? Thanks! I can't wait! My friend is going to be there and she is getting me lots of E.E. stuff from the gift shop.

There will be a big press event (VIPs and such) on April 6 and 7th. Whole areas of the park will be blocked off from other guests during these special event times. Including April 7th....when EE is not expected to be "open" to normal guests until approx. 2pm that day.

I don't know who all is invited or is attending the event...but it should be a good day for celebrity sightings I suppose. ????

We rode EE back in January during a sneak preview for AP holders. It was a VERY COOL ride. We will be there at the end of the month and can't wait to ride it again!!

I agree it is an awesome ride.. I am not that excited about the actual opening as it has been open for months. I have ridden like 10 times in 3 different trips.

I've done it 2x already, so really, an official openning doesn't mean anything to those who have ridden it.

Does anyone know if regular guests will be able to see any of the opening festivities? I understand that we wouldn't be able to ride the ride until 2 p.m. (from reading the above post).
