Who's dressing like a cow for free food at Chik-Fil-A today? 7/8/11

There is no way I would dress like a cow for free food.

My daughter and I went to Truett's (chick-fil-a) http://truettsgrill.com/ and dressed like cows for dinner tonight. I just print out the costume and taped the black dots and signs on our shirts and put the ears on a headband and put black dots with black lipstick on our faces. It was so crowded and someone got our bag and I have to wait for them to refix it which was no problem. When I got my food and I got a coupon for a free combo meal. They are super nice there. :goodvibes

We printed out the paper costume and attached the pieces to sunglasses and work uniforms. All of our food was free! :thumbsup2 Our CFA was PACKED and some people went all out. It was fun! :goodvibes

DD12 actually went for lunch on the way home from a youth group retreat. then she got home and we both went out. it was fun to see how people made different ways of dressing up like a cow.

Our CFA was packed I was surprised by effort some people put into it. We just added spots to our black and white clothes but some people painted their face and everything!:thumbsup2

Ours wasn't busy yet, it was around 4 or so, so still kind of early. but a few had face paint on them, even spots on their legs. a couple people downloaded the Eat more chicken sign, etc from the website.

It was like trick or treating except with chicken lol.

I totally would if we had one near us...closest one is an hour away :sad1:

I absolutey love Chick Fil A though...so yummy...love the polynesian sauce!!!

We went for breakfast and met some friends this morning! My 15 month old made a pretty cute cow! We really enjoyed our free meals!

Oh man I missed a chance to act 'udderly' ridiculous! Maybe next year.:goodvibes I would have done it if I could get my DD and grandkids to join me. For now i'll have to find other ways to embarrass myself...

I might do it. Last year, I pinned stuffed cow dolls to hats and that counted... My little boy likes cows a lot. Also, we have a shirt with a cow on it. I've found the CFA at our mall is far more generous than the freestanding ones because they do not get as many people (no one wants to go to the mall dressed as a cow?) I don't spend more than 15 minutes on it though, but free food is free food.

I was lazy this year. I wore my cow shirt, hung stuffed cows from bead necklaces, wore their free cow headbands, and pinned a couple cows on hats. That's it. And the one at the mall gave all of us free meals, so about $23 saved. Plus, I have leftovers because we don't usually eat that much. Love CFA!

My boys made their own costumes, they pinned paper spots to black or white shorts, I painted spots on their faces, arms and legs with make-up and they wore the "eat mor chikin" sign around their necks from the website. They all came home with free meals. My DH said the restaurant was pretty lenient, some adults were coming in in a black and white spotted or striped shirt and they said they would "use their imaginations" and gave them free meals.

Ours let the adults wear the eat mor chikin sign that was printed off the computer! No ears or tails or spots required.

We went yesterday. DS8 didn't want to do it so I told him he didn't have to dress up, but he wasn't eating either if he didn't. It was packed and everyone was dressed head to toe cow!! There was a daycare group there and also then a smaller church type group of some sort. CFA was totally on top it, hardly a wait and it was noon and food out in no time. People helping find seats, refill drinks, etc. They were extremely lenient when ordering too. I was surprised when he asked if I wanted 8 or 12 nuggets! 8 was more then plenty!

Heres is how my kids got dressed. Me and mom just had on the Chick Fil A print out of the computer. We got all our food free. It was a fun night and our CFA was packed. They gave away a lot of free food!

I personally would never eat at Chik Fila seeing as they give millions of dollars to anti-gay political campaigns even if it was free. But that's just me.

My kids was so embaressed that made dress like cow get free yesterday. That want go day care today. Because a the Hilly billy Restaurant was away giving free hot dogs and hamburgers today.

I got back to back free meals yesterday and today.

My sister and I wore black tank tops and leggings. I cut out spots from white paper, and then we pinned a tail on (long triangle colored brown). We got a free meal each. We also tapped the eat more chickn sign on.

My mom wore a brown spotted shirt, and brown shorts that we tapped spots on. She was the "awkward" cow, and still had a sign. They gave her a free meal too.

Do people really like Chick Fil A or is it just for a free meal? I've had it a few times at different stores and I thought it was nasty. The chicken was very gristly.
