Who's dressing like a cow for free food at Chik-Fil-A today? 7/8/11

If I only had one near me...

Every trip to Disney we hit Chick-fil-a the first day, I also get a 12 pack of nuggets before I leave the airport to come home!

I might do it. Last year, I pinned stuffed cow dolls to hats and that counted... My little boy likes cows a lot. Also, we have a shirt with a cow on it. I've found the CFA at our mall is far more generous than the freestanding ones because they do not get as many people (no one wants to go to the mall dressed as a cow?) I don't spend more than 15 minutes on it though, but free food is free food.

My boys don't want to do it! :sad2:

I tried to get them to think about it but I think they are just too "cool" for that. They would rather eat at home than be "humiliated" (their words not mine.)

:sad1:

Hadn't considered it.

But, since our last name is "Steere" maybe I could just go in street clothes with a:laughing: photo ID??

The summer camp my DD7 attends is taking 80 kids dressed like cows to our local Chick-Fil-A for free lunch. They all made cow shirts and decorated the printable masks. I cant wait to see pictures. Im hoping that Chick-Fil-A doesnt lock their doors when they see the bus load of cows pull up :)

We are - we love Chick fil-a and it's an expensive fast food meal - I printed off the costume from their website - can't wait, love free food!

That's funny, my 13 year old is really into it. He even asked me to buy him a cow costume until I explained to him that if I was going to buy him a costume I could just pay for the meal so then he agreed to make his own :rotfl:

Love Chik Fil A, but can't. My grandson has peanut allergies and they use peanut oil.:headache:

They should enter them in the "herd" catagory for the photo contest! :thumbsup2

Just to let you know-- the VAST majority of people with peanut allergy can tolerate refined peanut oil (like they use at Chick-Fil-A). My son has a peanut allergy (his RAST is 100+ --the highest it can be), and he eats Chick-Fil-A without a problem. You might want to have your daughter or daighter in law talk with your grandson's allergist about it. :thumbsup2 --Katie

MY girls are making cow hats as I write!!!! looks like we will be going to chick fil a!!!!!!!

a few years ago this fell on 7/11 and 7-11 was giving away free slurpees. I wonder if they will do that again this year.

When, oh when, will Chik-Fil-A come to the Chicago area? .........Maybe I shouldn't complain. Like I need another fast food adiction.

Just printed out 4 copies of the costume and will be taking my wife and 2 daughters for dinner tonight!

We do this every year!

It is coming. We have one out in Wheaton.

And there is one in Orland Park, Naperville and one in Chicago too!

I read on a blog somewhere that 7-11 is doing that again this year so I would keep an eye out for it.

Just called DH-- we're gonna do it :). Our printer ran out of black ink while printing the noses and ears, though, so I'm making the kids color their own "spots"!! --Katie

We went! DD12 and I put cow ears on head bands and hung a yellow tag from the ear (like real cows have) that said "Eat more chikin." DS10 broke his arm the 2nd day of summer vacation and has a black cast. We cut out "spots" from a sheet of white paper and wrapped that around his cast....it looked like a cow's leg! DS14 and DD15 were too cool for ears, but they were willing to wear a badge on their shirts that said "eat more chikin" and had the Chick Fil A logo on it. We colored the badges with black cow spots. We all got free entrees and I paid for lemonade and french fries. Lunch for 5 of us was about $14.00.

Thanks for posting the link!!! :thumbsup2 We had a great time!
