Who's decision was it to change the buffets?

When we were there in December last year I was so disappointed to find that all of the buffets were serving the same foods!! :confused3 What happened to each location having it's own special menus?? I had raved about the food at certain locations only to be disappointed at each one. Actually the only one that still has its own menu was the Cape May Cafe for the Clam Bake at the Beach Club. I found almost the same foods at Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare, Donald's Breakfasauros and Hollywood & Vine.

One of the things I always looked forward to was the food..I use to lose 20lbs before my trip because I knew I'd eat so much while I was there. Now it's just like any other all inclusive resort when it comes to food.

Am I the only one who feels this way?

My understanding is that the buffets offer pretty much the same food during the "holiday" season. Not sure exactly why they choose to do this, or why they select certain foods, but I believe this is why they were all the same during your December trip.

I think if you were there at a different time, things would be different. :)

It must be a holiday thing because we went in Jan and had pretty much totally different buffets at CP, CM, and 1900. Different meat carvings, different salads and breads, different desserts, definitely different veggie dishes, different soups.

I did hear that Disney is working on standardizing its food and beverage offerings. You can already find the same bar menus all over the resort. Specialty drinks particular to each resort lounge have almost ceased to exist.

Could be that they've moved on to the buffets, but maybe it is a December thing.

I love the Beirgarten and Cape May dinner buffets. Looking forward to trying Boma for the first time too

I have a feeling this is a result of the dining plan. Now don't flame me, but I wish they would get rid of that thing. The food was so much better before it.

1) I would send an email to Iger.
2) He is turning out to be worse for the parks that Eisner.
3) I would have never thought this could happen, or I'd be saying this.

Attention Michael: I didn't really mean all those nasty things I said about you. Would you please come back and replace your successor, Roger?
