Who's been to a disney on ice show?

We saw Princess on Ice but we only drove 30 minutes! DD loved it - she was 6 at the time. It was very cute and colorful! Don't know if I'd drive 3 hours though.

We have seen 100 years of magic and really enjoyed it. We are going to see Disneyland Adventure in May and I think my 5 year old will love seeing the Incredibles. I haven't allowed him to see the movie, but he knows enough to know they are super heroes.

As for souvenirs, I went to the Disney store before the last ice show and bought a Buzz lightchaser. Only $12.50, and he has taken it to Winnie the Pooh live since then too. I just put it in my diaper bag and surprise him with it during intermission. I'll probably go buy a princess one for my daughter this time. I also packed my son's Lion King straw sippy cup in the diaper bag. That was another special surprise for intermission. I think all we bought was a popcorn.

One more way to save money is to see it in a smaller facility. In May we are going with my parents in my hometown. It is much smaller than Atlanta and the facility is small enough that even the cheapest seats are great seats. 5 of us are going for $87. We also saved because we are going on opening night and they offer a discount that night. As you can see I am all about saving a dime!

We saw the MI show as well as the Princess show, and both were good. My fav though was the 100 years of magic. I go to which ever show comes to town, even if we have seen it before. My kids were 8 and 4 when we saw MI and they were not afraid at all. Your kids will have a good time.
