Any thoughts about what seats are NOT worth paying for (too high, stage blocked etc.)? How is general admission - will I totally get crushed against a wall of people?

How safe is it for a woman to go alone? And if I'm alone am I better off in a seat, or GA on the floor? With what I'd have to pay to get tickets now, my friends will likely all say "no way", and I may have to go alone if I want to go at all.

What are the standing room areas way up at the top of the stands like? Can you see or hear properly up there?

Anyone got a good source for hard-to-get, sold out tickets (like for the U2 tour in Sept)?

Thanks for any and all thoughts. I really, really want to see U2 in Sept (I will be in Toronto that week anyway), but couldn't get tickets when they went on sale, and now I'm looking at e-Bay (only sellers with plenty of good feeback from buyers) and reputable resellers.

The ACC is no problem for a woman alone. The best tickets will be GA or first level of the stands. The sound and views are awful on the upper level.

The best way to get tickets are last minute at the box office for regular price. They usally hold tickets until the day of or a day or two before the show...but it's a gamble. You have to be at the box office at the right time. You need to have time to wait in line for most of the day(s).
If you have the money you can pay for scalper tickets, especially since you are a single, you might have some luck talking them down in price.

Good Luck :) They are the best band in the world !!

Thank you! With GA I imagine you'd have to line up most of the day of the concert if you want to get anywhere near the front. What is the back of GA like? I know it's far from the stage, but how's the sound? Can you see anything that's going on on the stage at all? I can't see myself lining up all day on the day of the concert - way too long a day for me!

GA's not that big, and you will get the best sound at the soundboard located near the back of the floor. Depending on U2's stage set up you should have no problem seeing them. You can check out their web site, you might find some footage of some recent shows.

Hope this helps !

I'd actually be happy to stand right at the back of GA - no crowd surging behind me! As long as I can see what's going on and hear it well, I'll be happy. I don't need to be 5 feet from Bono LOL!

So, sounds like GA might still work for me.

Thanks for your thoughts!

Just saw Duran Duran a month ago and the sound was great! We were one row below the Corporate boxes and the sight line was good and sound was great! I really enjoyed the ACC. Have fun and good luck on getting your ticket.
